Give Erin a magical husband, since that's what Kaga intended. Four Brigands break into my castle. "What the Lopto" As I grab my Magic Ring and Sleep Staff. Knock out the first man, he's asleep on the spot. Draw my Javelin on the second man, fail to one-round because Fee's strength is shit and nail my own pegasus. I have to resort to Ced sitting on top of the castle loaded with Forseti, "Just crit lol" the green nuke shreds two men in the blast, the sound and wind set off Ishtar's spawn. Take the Wind Sword and charge the last rapscallion. He bleeds out waiting for reinforcements to arrive since Elwind wounds are impossible to stitch up. Just as Kaga intended.
I've always been a magic fee enjoyer Azel for that huge mag after promotion and claude for slightly less magic, but more res and higher staff rank which gives you the arguably best ced
Honestly Celebrity Wife Swap of the "magic" pairings would be pretty solid and patch up some of their weaknesses -Tailtiu/Lewyn Arthur is the perfect vessel to use Forseti for the longest and get it wherever you need fastest. Tine kinda sucks no matter what but if she gets Miracle from Arion she'll be fine -Erinys/Claud B rank staves, good magic, staff access, good hybrid fighter Fee (more growths in strength/magic would be better, but not needed since she can attack on either) -Sylvia/Azel Neither of these kids really need anything to do their jobs, this lets them be better combat units with Pursuit, Adept, and Miracle. While it doesn't help Lene in the arena at all and she should usually be dancing for others, she could theoretically take on Endgame archers if Miracle will help her out. Not reliable, she probably won't one round them with Dancer's caps even with a crit light brand, but it *IS* utility she doesn't have otherwise.
Honestly, Claud×Erinys is a pairing I've wanted to try since I realized that their kids would both benefit from his holy blood, but I don't play Genealogy enough to have had a chance to try it. Glad to at least see somebody highlighting it! Maybe I should start a new run and finally give it a go.
So I'm doing this(with a whole bunch of hybrids Tailto x Arden, Nanna x Axel) and Fee at a lvl 23 Falco Knight HP 47 Str 13 Mag 12 Skl 17 Spd 30 Lck 20 Def 20 Res 24 Since she's holding a def ring she actually has the highest def. Fun stuff.
As someone who has never played fe4 ... this video is very interesting regardless! Before anyone says play fe4... map size too unfriendly to my shitty adhd brain. Your bit about Magic Fee reminded me of my fe9 maniac run oscar who managed to get 10 mag, was fun actually using the flame lance. Fun times.
Still quite like how Azel/Lacheezits makes Dermott into a good 1-2 range unit and Nanna into a much better healer, Azel can pass down swords so it all works out pretty well and nothing gets wasted. Minor Fala is actually a really strong/transformative holy blood.
Dermott starts with 3 mag in that case, and gets no magic on promotion. Enemies are super bulky so you are not going to deal much damage. You are also wasting the hezul holy blood, which gives good strength, but with azel that his growth goes down to 50% so he is just a mediocre magic user and a mediocre physical unit. Just make dermott a 1 range killing machine with beowulf. Nanna's magic stat is not very important for her healing, because mend is good enough for the job.
I like magic Dermot because honestly physical dermott is still kinda ass because lmao what is 23 str on him ever doing if he never gets a power ring so might as well go full meme Seliph 25 str and Ares 24 str only sort of get away because they are more likely to have the 2 power rings and most importantly they can use javelins and have magic stats to use magic swords anyways for more than just lol sword go aaa
I'm on my first playthrough, and this turned out really well for me. My fee is a little blessed with 21 magic at level 22, (should be 19 on avg) and she's doing very well, she's able to fight most things in ch 9 on her own even if she still isnt one rounding. Actually I could give her the magic ring to fix that, as Arthur has forsetti and ced is ced. I should try giving her the earth sword. Also, I can confirm sleep ced is funny.
No mention of res growth for Claude bad video. Ced also get *staff (and valkyria) instead of B. Also sleeping Ishtar is not funny just rely on shaky hit rate and a crit proc like a gamer.
I don’t care much for pairings in fe4, mostly because I find managing adjacencies very annoying. Erin at least doesn’t have that issue. As for meta, the issue isn’t the parents so much as the children. No matter who their father is, Ayra and Brigid’s kids are always completely irrelevant. The only kid that is remotely interesting pairing wise is Lana for the rescue staff.
@@DaniDoyle I won't stand for this Azel slander! Azel one rounds the 36hp Bandits in the prologue and ch1! That automatically makes him the 2nd highest consistent source of damage on your team after Sigurd until Lex gets the Brave Axe! Ok but past that though, I agree.
Don't the ch1 bandits still have -11 AS? At least on the stat list I've got here, Azel should still double them. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't call him good and I was more trying to be tongue in cheek in turn but a unit who can kill most common mobs in one round of combat does have some utility, even on foot. @@DaniDoyle
I do Ced/Erinys just cause I prefer doing Jamuka/Edean and I don't like having there be competition over the Pursuit Ring (Midir is a BAD unit and I don't care what anyone says, sure he has a horse but that means jack shit if you can't deal good damage as a freaking bow unit, It'll take the marginal hit to efficiency and just keep the Killer Bow on Jamuka, who can actually reliably kill people, thank you) Plus I think having Lolseti at the start of gen 2 is just, bad for the overall enjoyment of playing fe4, it just kind of sucks any potential difficulty out from that early part of the generation, it's absolutely the best choice statistically but, and I am sure I will be crucified for this, I think how fun a unit/strategy is is relevant to whether they're good or not, and keeping Forseti on a foot locked unit that joins you at the halfway mark means there's a real opportunity cost to using Forseti now, it becomes a tool rather than just the hammer that turns anything it strikes into a nail, or, in this case, an armoured unit I guess, lol. Some people enjoy smurfing fes, I just don't I guess.
How does doing Jamke/Aideen help with the pursuit ring problem? That just makes the problem worse. Now you have another unit who needs the pursuit ring. If you want Lester to do good combat, just give him midir. Midir is way better than Jamke anyway. He can help with reliable strong two range combat with killer bow, and is the best unit to chip down bosses so that sigurd does not need to spend many turns on that boss. Jamke is so bad, because he can't get to a fight, other than on chapter 2 and 3 for a little bit. He also can't enemy phase, so he needs to be protected, which makes it harder for him to keep up. His biggest contribution is being a rng manipulator with the arena.
The tragedy of Rescue Fee: she needs Claud to reach A-Rank, she can't inherit staves, and Rana (Mana, Lana, idk what the current translation is) needs Claud to inherit the rescue staff. Ask me when I actually realized all of these things during my playthrough. Once you finally get rescue, she's really fun to use, but unless I missed some sort of trick, I don't believe you can get Rescue until it's in the shop if you don't have Aideen/Claud. So you have to give it up for Ch 6, 7, and 8, maybe 9? if you do that
Were you playing a ROM? Rescue Fee is impossible in vanilla FE4; Falcon Knights have C rank staves in FE4 and Claud’s minor Bragi blood gives +1 staff rank for her to have B rank staves even in that pairing.
@@ness6099 well now I feel like an idiot. I guess I was chasing after something that didn’t exist haha. Yeah I have played a few ROM edits of FE4 over the years and must have been remembering Rescue Fee from one of those playthroughs.
I like LewynxErinys because it makes gen 2 Lewyn a extremely shitty parent
Why do people keep saying this? He was DEAD, Forseti possessed his body! Be angry at him! #Lewyndidnothingwrong
For some reason TH-cam flagged this comment for review? I assume its the caps lock DEAD? IDK
It’s for sure worse than just giving her a brave Lance or something but wind sword fee is my favorite thing to baby and overinvest in for no reason
I think it's better than brave Lance, since you're not screwing over ced to give erin a passable strength stat. Plenty of units can use brave lance
Give Erin a magical husband, since that's what Kaga intended. Four Brigands break into my castle. "What the Lopto" As I grab my Magic Ring and Sleep Staff. Is that Vaild?
Pretty sure Luna and astra and stuff don’t work on mounted units at all
Yeah, I thought Sol, Luna, and Astra were exclusive to Swordfighters in the Jugdral games. Luna Fee would be super funny if it were possible, though.
Luna only works on sword infantry
