    I had a 2015 Mustang GT with an 18 intake manifold. I added the JLT CAI with the tune. I only ran 93 in the car. I never had it on a dyno, but it made a huge difference in the power and torque on that car. I sold it and bought a GT350 last year. It will be getting a JLT soon.

    Whoever works for JLT and claps back to the children and haters is a fkn legend 👏 You've earned my business. Sorry K&N and AFE. Ya been great, but time to switch it up on my new '22 Charger widebody.

    im really loving my JLT intake on my s550 mustang v6. i can tell the difference in power compared to stock. the mpt performance tunes also make it wake up even more. just changed out my spark plugs since they were due to be changed so i should gain my power back.

    Why don't you do a test that actually shows were most of these intake system fail, when the hoods closed and engine compartment is 300 degrees

    • @JLTPERFORMANCE
      @JLTPERFORMANCE  3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Amazing post, but a big fail. With the hood shut at the speeds of a dyno pull, 50-150 mph under hood temps are at or near ambient. Hood up only give near ambient temps to the filter. Dyno fans are for the radiator, not simulate 150 mph air flow.

    Would you run the tests with 1.Stock air box with stock paper filter which this looked to have. 2. Stock air box with ford performance/Airaid/ K&N filter 3. JLT intake with its after market filter that is a comparison I have not seen and would like to see.

    • @JLTPERFORMANCE
      @JLTPERFORMANCE  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We have our own stock replacement filter as well. The test your asking for would take about 12 hours with proper cool down and not something we are looking to spend our time doing. But, there are dyno shops all over the country that charge $1-200/hour that would allow anyone to do such a test.

      Doesn't void warranty unless Ford proves the modification caused the problem.

      Generally, Cold Air Intakes don't cause Engine Failures. If you're worried about Warranty work, then Save your old parts, and then reinstall them.

      🤦‍♂️dyno fans don't simulate driving speed either. Hood down sitting on a dyno is way too hot.
