Featherweight has improved the survivability of rapiers builds by such a degree that normal light armor rapier builds basically aren't viable anymore. It's kind of crazy

Played on launch as a bow main and was wondering why my damage felt so much lower; these DoT builds you've been cooking up have been such a huge help with catching back up on how I should be building out my gearsets. Keep up the great work, and thanks for all the advice!
For the ring you can get the legendary syncretic ring which gives Magnify, Socket, Hearty, Blood letting and Keen awareness. Its the same as the one you have just with added crit. If you upgraded it you would need to put the stamina on it so I guess its just how much you would value 6% crit chance. Also for legendary Syncretic Items, like the bow and ring, if you do the faction mission "Deathly Hallowed" there are 4 mobs that seem to drop syncretic legendaries almost every drop.
I'd love to see a spear set up, been wondering with the scorpion's sting some fun things could happen but I'm curious your take on the spear or which spear you would even use. The bow BIS was amazing went to farm it so was curious adding a spear and what you might pair with it whether bow, rapier, or something completely different.
It's what I've been running, it's a little less dot and def not as nice for 1v1s (just cuz spear rapier has zero spacing), but the overall dps on pve is just as good. My crits are around 7-8k and the dot from all abilities is about 2500.

Debating on what the best extra perk to snag on the finisher is, currently leaning towards keenly jagged. Is there any reason to not go that? I run keenly jagged on my bow already, I'm not entirely sure if they overlap or dont work together.
This is my new favorite channel. What are you planning on running for the third perk on Finisher? If you were to run the Evade version of the build, would you put omni-directional evade on the weapon or on armor? Thanks!
That really means a lot!. I want to say it depends... You could roll another damage perk for the rapier itself, sundering riposte as well for mega rend then swap to bow.
Without any min-maxing, I've hit a flourish (in pve) for 15.7k roughly. If you stack enough bleeds and time your cooldowns for attunements correctly and had BIS, I think a 25k flourish is highly possible.
@@ItzTermx bloodletting with 350 dex, 50 int, 25 str and the rest in con (will probably drop strength in m3s or use a medium load not sure yet) is what I've been using so far to hit VERY consistent 12-14k bleed ticks. I also go full bleed tree on the rapier and I do tondo- light light- flurry- Dodge, charged heavy, flourish and finish. Usually stacks enough bleed on dungeon mobs to break the 10k threshold consistently
@@ItzTermx also my build is currently min-maxed light with the tumbler wrap shoes, I think I like the shirking blessing too much to give it up in dungeons because it's SUCH an easy thing to proc due to how telegraphed mob attacks are. The finisher is what I'm using (obviously) and I back it up with a bow so I can run enfeebling poison shot. Helps me with 1vx's in open world PVP a decent amount too because people hit half as hard for 7 seconds
@@ravenzkilla bloodletting isn't good on rapier in pve. with dex and int passives + flurry bleed extension you're at bleed duration cap without bloodletting every time. This video is very misleading. Should be able to get 45k FnF hits with 3 bleeds stacked fairly regularly with good empower management.
Why don't you use Explosive arrow as well? Also you might want to check out Blooddrinker ring,.. Magnify, Ghoul's Harmony(which doesn't reduce damage as much as people think), Leeching, hearty and a socket, I added the final perk as Bloodletting and it's just crazy good,.. even in this build!
you can get 30 more armor (calculated on 675 armors from nw database) by going : med head (2,6), featherweight (0), med gloves (2,6), heavy pants (6,3), light boots (1,5) for total of 13 loadout. Unless 13 is already medium then my bad and ill delete
Its easy to do the rotseeds even if there is a lot of people. You dont nees to hit them, just get under them when they explode and you get credit. In a group of 5 only 1 person must tank the hit for whole group to get kill. Afk by standing 1 person under each spawn.

Because you can have heavy boots and head and have more physical and elemental armor while still being at light equip load

PvE? honestly no. You are getting so much extra damage with syncretic. But PvE bow is 90% rapid shot so build around that if you can
