If anyone is interested in the "story" of the video, my understanding is that they broke into a movie studio lot to film the music video. They started off by hacking the cameras on the studio lot (with the "sniper" throw with the thumb drive). Then they basically go on a tear throughout the lot going from movie set to movie set. That's why the environments change. Oh, and towards the end, when it looks like they are taking mugshots, that's them screwing around with the "clackers" that you see on movie sets. The guy with the fox mask is basically the manager/producer/etc for the group. The dog that pops up from time to time is a guard dog that at first is trying to catch them, but they save the dogs life a couple times (avoiding hitting him with a car early on, grabbing him out of the water towards the end so he doesn't drown) and as they break through the fence you see the dog is now basically a part of the gang.
That definitely sounds like the story of the video! We also know for a fact that they had all these plans for this music video beforehand that they threw around in a discord call and although they are all very different from one another, Aphelios suggested that they should attempt to put all of those ideas together in the music video and so this chaos was created. Like despite not being able to go to space like some had wanted, Aphelios managed to 'get' them a dog instead with the guard dog being taken into their group and so forth.
Finally!! Someone who doesn't say that KDA is better than this. Heartsteel is genuinely good I just don't know why people say it's bad because of the champion line ups.
It's truly not bad! I think some people will always have doubts over new groups after KDA, especially with this kind of odd line up. Hopefully they'll give this group a chance but I truly think this is a refreshing group to get into!
I definitely think it's difficult to compare this group to KDA when we've only gotten one song in comparison to the years that KDA has had but Heartsteel has been very well received so I believe it definitely deserves some merit for it's debut song!
Honestly the song grew on me. First listen through I liked “Giants” more, I still do but I think it’s cause it feels less chaotic I dunno why. But Paranoia is a good song

It is weird how TH-cam algorythm always recommend me to reaction videos and I kinda like it. I think the concept of this band is a 'boy' band, a group of friends with very different personality and very contrast in vocal but they can banded together because they are friends. Me and my 5 online friends also decided to move in together after knowing each other for almost 10 years and that workout because we are stupid.
I always loved that honestly but that's because I just love reaction videos personally haha! That definitely is the concept that riot has laid out for them: just a group of guys who wanted to make their own music in their own way and found a bond together to make things work when other attempts had failed. I think it has a charm to it that makes me appreciate it more since it's very much "these are just a bunch of friends getting together and having fun" vibes. :D

Well KDA is better, but this is great too.
