I completely agree. The more that keeps coming out about Sherry/Joey the more horrifying it is. Bad choices don’t happen in a vacuum. Rarely do people like this get help. Honestly, it was bound to happen to the show. Having so many contestants, some are going to have huge character flaws. We all know about the Mimi Imfurst allegations as well. Mimi is still touring with the queens though, I believe. I’m not too well versed on the allegations against Mimi though.
Carlie O I haven’t seen too much of Mimi Imfurst as of late, but I am aware of the allegations against her. I can’t fault the production team for not catching this, because it’s possible that Joey kept this secret well hidden. That being said, RPDR is going to have to have a more stringent vetting process going forward.
@@richardkeane On Alaska and Willam's podcast, Willam said that World of Wonder found out about this whole thing after filming was completed, but also sometime before the season premiered.
We need to be supportive, and show some compassion...yes, Sherry's behavior is deplorable, but part of forgiveness is a strong understanding that no one is perfect.... For the most part, her theatrical career is over, he's been totally shunned by his community, and obviously suffers with some type of psychological disorder by his actions....and as someone that suffers from depression, I can only imagine what he's experiencing after all of this..I'm not passionate as you, but know the consequences of being shamed, isolated, and being made to feel worthless..which has been the majority of hate he's receiving at the moment...
