When I was about 10 years old, my mother asked me if I'd rather learn how to play the guitar or the piano. I chose the guitar but I have regrets because I would love to know how to play the piano. Beautiful and evocative, with the moto perpetuo accompanying a delicate and sensitive melody. Especially pleasing with the addition of multiple layers of melody as the piece progresses. One of the most touching and mystifying pieces I've ever heard on the piano. A truly stupendous rendition. This made my day!

Wonderful performance! Brilliant idea with the piano strings! However when it comes to transcription - I think Mr. Zimmer's idea was to emulate a ticking clock - and it's kind of lost in your version. In my ideal (non-existing) transcription, I would take Katherine Cordova's monotonous and pulsating transcription as the base, and then add your ideas on top of it, especially in the second half where Katherine's version lacks the main theme. Would love to see this epic duo version :)
