I have to tell you that Hyderabad is a heaven for rice lovers as we have the best Biryani in the world, the amazing moist arabian mandi and khabsa but the one underrated and hidden rice item, Kabuli Mutton Pulao is also something that people need to pay attention to.
The meat is tender, succulent and pink, with the moist sweet rice, it is a perfect combination with the Rajma curry. When you get bored with the heavy Masale of Hyderabad, this is the place you need to visit to try something different than Biryani.
They also had a Nalli Nihari which was extremely rich and creamy in texture, although lacking my taste and flavor, it is a dish that is surely worth trying solely for its texture. Combining it with jumbo/afghani naan, its a bite made from heaven.
Rest up were the Afghani Dum ka chicken which was super flavorful when it comes to Tanginess, the chicken was tender and juicy, definitely worth trying. Badam ki kheer and Umm ali, felt that they had excellent touch of Zafraan, it was perfect to end the delicious dinner we had.
All that I could wish is to get the Afghani Kabuli pulao recipe which is the best kabuli pulao recipe in Hyderabad.
