I have been listening to the Open Source album every day for the last month or so, I can't get enough of this amazing album. The entire album is great but Vital Signs and In Motion are my favourite tracks. I have not touched an electric guitar in 15 years and started learning playing again. I bought the album with Guitar Pro files and have learned the first parts of Dreamlike and are having a lot of fun. I guess the pandemic is to blame for me starting to play again, some positive sides of it I guess.
Petrucci, Andy James, Sergey Golovin and Kiko all released amazing instrumental music over last couple weeks. What a great moment to be a fan of guitar virtuoso music.

Incredible. Found this only yesterday and have listened to it 7-8 times already. I can hear the influence from Satriani, Vai and Petrucci; onsets and approach/tone from Satch, slides from Vai and the extreme cleanliness from Petrucci. And then he makes it completely his own. A delight, brilliant!

The greatest thing about kiko as a guitarist is that he is not just technically very advance but he keeps the emotion and melody intact through out the song which makes him a very sound and guitarist which i believe is hard to find these days....He is sure to be on the list of guitar god someday.....

about 15 years ago or so i saw a video of you doing a beautiful mellow finger tapping piece almost piano-ish. it's been a joy watching you go from that to where you are today. i never pictured you in my all time favorite band either but happy you got that gig as well.
Acho que você quebrou barreiras e esse ótimo trabalho vai ficar de lição para outros guitarristas, principalmente aqueles "heros" que querem colocar tudo ao mesmo tempo. O que quero dizer é que as músicas desse álbum fluem tão naturalmente que as vezes o solo não acontece, ou aparece um solo curto, mesmo você tendo todos os recursos técnicos para fazê-lo. A verdade é que não precisou do solo, porque a composição em si já está completa.
