this series is sooo well-paced & relied purely on actresses' abilities to hold an audience themselves. They took the time to build their relationship and unnecessary drama wasn't needed to keep audience engaged. Conflicts only happened later on when things got out of hand. You feel like you grew up with these two, going from childhood crush, into teenage romance and into deep love when they are older. It's such a satisfying slow burn that does not feel slow at all! Super engaging even.

I was really amazed by Becca's acting skills when Pin said she didn't know how she felt. I re-watch it again and again just to watch her feeling devastated knowing that Pin doesn't feel that way. It was as if she just got denied by the love of her life... Really FreenBecky's acting skills have so much more improved than "Gap the series". I'm loving to re-watch it again with you guys. Watch episode 6 already....your jaws will be dropped in the first part itself 😂😅.
The pivotal episode 5! I'm so happy to rewatch it with you girls. You see, Anin does love Pin since they're 14 and she's really doing those things to make her fall in love. Pin on the other hand is confused about her feelings about Anin but her possessiveness shows whenever the princess enjoys the company of other people. They didn't add when Pin read her journal and felt the emptiness of not seeing Anin and she eagerly looked forward to see her as she confess her love. I'm excited for you to see the future episodes, it's going be a rollercoaster of emotions!
Just a couple of things to keep in mind in case no one else has mentioned it. Abby was spot on about Pin, knowing her feelings since the beginning. Anin is bold and tenanacious in large part because she, as a princess and favorite child, was always allowed to express herself. She was taught that there isn't anything beyond her reach. In contrast, Lady Pin was born into a lower class (a commoner), so she was brought up to know her place, taught how to behave properly around royalty and those of higher ranking. Most importantly to never reach for anything or anyone who is of higher status or ranking than you. With that in mind, Lady Pin struggles with accepting both Anin's feelings for her and her own feelings for Anin because she does not feel this love tangible. This will be a reoccurring theme. That being said, this episode has the best gl love confession I have ever seen. The vulnerability in this episode alone is chef kiss. You were right about the series being soft. It's flow/pace and the writing is like cinematic poetry. It is not full of angst like most shows, but it somehow manages to feel satisfying anyway. Thank you again for your reaction and I will eagerly await your reaction to episode 6. You'll need to brace yourself for the next ep. P.S. most people to acknowledge it but we all see Anin's bravery in this ep. But Pin was also brave in this episode for allowing herself to act on the love she has for Anin when everything in her tells her she shouldn't have this.
Anin wasn't standing in the rain banging on the door, that was clearly inside her house, Pin just ran into the guest bedroom, it shows Anin checking the room the next morning and her seeing the front door open the next morning. She was exposed to rain when it showed her sitting there painting by the open front door.
I really enjoy your reactions and have fun rewatching the show with you guys! Also, I completely agree-ep 5 gave us such a heartfelt love confession. Personally, ep 7 is my favorite. Since she go downstair all recover and smiley we all thought it all went well until it reveal how heartbroken she was actually. -i love how anin readily accept pin no matter how hurted she was. -noticed how anin give lady pin the gold pin and taking a silver pin for herself despite their status. It show how anin value pin higher than herself -anin is my hero tbh she is one of most green flag gl character i ever known and their rs is one of the most healthiest fiction gl couple i ever watch. NOW...Another novel input that was leftout from the series : -one of items that anin bring back from england for pin is a book of sketches full of lady pin. Anin draw lady pin based on her imagination all 5 years she overseas imagining how pin look like growing up doing various things and smiling since she dont have any pin picture. -in novel cousin euang was attracted to grown up anin on first sight on anan wedding. The reason she went to anin palace is to double check her attraction thinking the admiration came from anin splendid make up n outfit during wedding but find herself more attracted to anin when she just in her casual wear. especially when anin standing near her coz novel anin is tall and beautiful who always wear western clothes (i guess a tee) -prince anan (elder brother) is secretly deep in love with lady euang even after he is married. Both anon and anil know about it. It was anil who told anon about bro anan unrequited love coz she very observant and smart to noticed her brother gaze when he first return from europe many years ago. Is why in novel, anin never use her cousin to provoke jealousy. Its also reason why prince anan lost tenis match to prince anon despite being more advantage and skill. He always lost when lady euang serve. -lady euang only see him as big bro. -lady euang mom is anin mom older sister. -when anin design her Own palace, she also include servant quarter for prik . It was one of biggest and most comfortable servant quarter in any palace. Brace urself for ep6 😂😂😂😂

"When winter arrives, the sight of people locking lips becomes unmistakably evident here. Whether it's a lover's kiss or not, it can be witnessed in various places: within the confines of an aging building, amidst the bustling park, tucked away in the library's corners,where serious and elusive academic texts stand guard. As if people here were kissing each other openly anywhere that I could not help but ask...How sweet is the taste of a kiss... Lady Pin...Have you ever wanted to know like me? What does a kiss taste like?" 'Pilantita's face immediately heated up when she thought of this text of this person far away. She could only scold Princess Anil inside. I love the pace as well! The heart wrenching moments will definitely be a tear jerker but you'll think its worth it! I did get really really mad at the choices people made but it was all in character so its justified. I love your videos and rewatching the eps with you guys is amazing. Thank you again!!

Remember the previous episodes where she stated multiple times that she'd rather grow old together with Lady Pin? She knew then and the distance further proved that she really did love Lady Pin in a romantic sense. I love how Lady Pin completely surrenders the moment she realised that she loves Princess Anil the same way and could not wait to let her know how utterly devoted she is. The way she said that she only belongs to Anil with that look in her eyes??? What a chef's kiss!
Moo Sarong is really good! It's mentioned in the book as well as Anils favorite food, so I looked up what it was and found a recipe. I made it a few times on Loyal Pin watch nights, and it's great😃

It's a bit of a complicated subject, in the 50s those relationships were not accepted and Khun Pin is a more closed girl and raised in a different way by her aunt, Anin is more relaxed and free.
Another thing I wanted to tell you is that Master Kuea is not good, you will see that when you see the next chapters. My Khun Pin suffers a lot because of him, that's all I will say.

It's a bit of a complicated subject, in the 50s those relationships were not accepted and Khun Pin is a more closed girl and raised in a different way by her aunt, Anin is more relaxed and free.
