This blew my mind! Never have I heard this about “salt” of the earth. I’m in my sixties and I feel like a child who knows nothing at all. I did not get saved until I was 42. I fear I’m missing out on a lot of information I should have , I feel useless with what little I know. I’m going to have to watch this a million times to truly comprehend it. This is a precious piece of valuable information especially during this time. I so want to please God with my service. If you’re reading this please pray for me.

My first job out of Bible College was in an office where there were no other Christians. All the staff were living for the things of this world. One day I asked God..."WHY did you place me in such a dark place?" And He impressed on my heart "You are like a candle, and the only LIGHT they can see" WOW-- that was powerful and I trusted God from that day forward to help me BE the "light" they needed to see! 🙏✝️

TRUTH!!!! I spent nearly 15 years in some of the most secure and violent prisons in the United States, stumbling around in darkness. I was chasing significance and reason, trying to make sense of life and find meaning.
It wasn't until I met Jesus that I found all that I had ever needed, wanted, and longed for!! I had 14 more years left on my sentence, but GOD allowed me to be paroled in 2017, and I've never looked back. Today, I am married, we have a son (even though doctor's have told me I may not be able to have children), and our Daddy in heaven has given me joy that doesn't depend on circumstances, and peace that surpasses understanding. If anyone is seeking Truth, purpose, meaning, love, justice, forgiveness, and hope, you'll only find that and so much more in the person of Jesus Christ. ❤️☝️🙌

Jesus said, "I tell you the truth no one will see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me." For God so loved the world that He give His only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but will have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the World through Him. For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, and All who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. " If you want to be sure of Heaven and avoid the other place below say the following prayer sincerely from your heart." Lord Jesus I repent and am sorry for my sins forgive me. I forgive all who have offended me.I believe you died and Rose again .Come into my heart and save me. I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and baptise me with your Holy Spirit. Fulfill your plan and purpose in my life. "I recommend you read John's Gospel especially chapter 3.Gbu.John 3v3v22,John 14v6.

@jacobking3211 Scribes and Pharisees have added and subtracted from what Yeshua aka "Jesus" said. Anything that is not a direct quote in quotation is falsehood such as the translation of *Yeshua* to the falsehood of "Jesus" instead of the proper translation of *Joshua.*
      Matthew 7:21-23 (NKJV)
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, *you who practice lawlessness!’*
The LAW = COMMANDMENT. Anyone not doing the Law/commandment is practicing LAWLESSNESS. KJV and NIV, 2 major translations purposefully mistranslate anomia incorrectly, but NKJV correctly translated as it should be: LAWLESSNESS! You can say "Lord, Lord" or "Jesus, Jesus" or "Yeshua, Yeshua " or any name you decide to call on all you want; this calling on a name will not grant anyone entry into the Kingdom of Heaven! Yeshua said so himself as seen above. Thus anywhere in the Christian Bible where it said anything about Yeshua's name being important is nothing but FALSEHOOD! His name regardless of if translated right or wrong is NOT IMPORTANT! Doing the will of the One True Creator aka Heavenly "Father" [Parent] is important! This will is STEADFAST LOVE of ALL (Matthew 5:43-48) and STEADFAST FORGIVENESS of ALL (Matthew 6:14-15) as Yeshua himself did (John 13:34) as we do not know how to LOVE or FORGIVE!
      John 3:18-21(NKJV)
18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 *And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.* 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 *But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”*
Believing Yeshua's Words and NOT DOING his Words is doing the DEEDS of Evil/Darkness. The second half of John 3:18 copied above of "believing in a 'name'" is falsehood that anyone with spiritual discernment can see sticking out as CLEARLY FALSE! A "name" is not "light" but Yeshua's Words and Deeds are Light! Yeshua means Yahweh Saves! This is the furthest from the truth there is as Genesis 7 and Exodus chapters 3-14 are just 2 examples of MASS GENOCIDE by Yahweh! Plenty more slaughtering and oppression/punishment by Yahweh who is NOT the One True Creator or Heavenly "Father" [Parent].
Also, Paul's epistle to the Romans is NOT a part of the Gospel of John and you confusing and mixing this man's epistle that never met Yeshua and who is the BIGGEST blind guide over the past 2000 years there is is a mighty joke attributing it to the gospel of John. What you mixed in was Romans 3:23 (NKJV) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
In Romans 3, Paul is all about SLAVERY to someone! Yeshua in John 8 spoke against SLAVERY and setting people FREE! Snippets below of John 8 (NKJV)
12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
19 Then they said to Him, “Where is Your Father?”
*Jesus answered, “You know neither Me nor My Father. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.”*
*31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, **_“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”_*
      33 They answered Him,
“We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?”
34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. *35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.*
39 They answered and said to Him, “Abraham is our father.”
Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this. 41 *You do the deeds of your father.”*
Then they said to Him, “We were not born of fornication; we have one Father-God.”
42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. *43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.*
So follow Paul and be a slave to his gospel and a slave to his "God" that was a Bright Light and Voice claiming to be Yeshua many years after Yeshua left earth [Acts 9, 22, 26] with two other "witnesses" of this shared "heavenly vision." The whole purpose of the 2 witnesses in Paul's story is to validate the private meeting in the physical realm. Heaven = sky, so a Bright Light in the Sky spoke to Paul and gave him a different gospel than what Yeshua taught his chosen 12 apostles in which only 11 remained after Yeshua left earth [Acts 1:9-11] and told us not to believe anyone claiming to have a private meeting with him after he left earth (Matthew 24:23-31) but ALL Christians including myself when I was walking in Darkness under a blind guide [Pharisee Saul Paul of Tarsus who preferred to be called "Apostle" Paul] as a Christian never saw this warning as other blind guides do not share Matthew 24:1-31 (specifically verses 23-31). I have listened to my Parent, the Spirit of Truth, and left father (the devil, John 8:44) and mother (Babylon, also known as the Spirit of Falsehood, Revelation 17:5) in Genesis 2:24 and Matthew 19:4-6.
These same blind guides does not focus on Galatians 1-3 either where Paul said in chapter 2 that Peter [Cephas/Kefa] is CONDEMNED for saying that the COMMANDMENT [of LOVE as Yeshua Loves] GRANTS ETERNAL LIFE.... here is a snippet below of Galatians 2 (NKJV)
15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, 16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
17 “But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not! 18 For if I build again those things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. *19 For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God.* 20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. *21 I do not set aside the grace of God; **_for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”_*
      Galatians 3
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” *11 But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” 12 Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them.”*
13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Yeshua himself said otherwise that the Words/Commandments given out of Yeshua's mouth grants Life as seen in the snippet below of John 12 (NKJV)
44 Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. 45 And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. 46 I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. 47 And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him-the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. 49 For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. *50 And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”*
AND THE COMMANDMENT Yeshua gave is in John 13:34-35 (NKJV)
*34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.* 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
And thus, *loving as Yeshua Loves is a COMMANDMENT/LAW and this COMMANDMENT/LAW grants ETERNAL LIFE!*
      LAWLESSNESS = ETERNAL DEATH
      THE END!

@@thethiefonthecross9092Get out of Babylon (Revelation 18) and leave father (the devil, John 8:44) and mother (Babylon, mother of ALL ABOMINATION Revelation 17:5) as the Spirit of Truth told us in Genesis 2:24 as well as through Yeshua in Matthew 19:4-6. If you choose to honor father (the devil) and mother (Babylon) as they told you to in Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5, then the most you will get are the false promises as a slave that might live 70-80 years as Moses bemoaned in Psalms 90 in its entirety but especially verses 9-10. Why do you think they make retirement age in the U.S. 70 years old? This is because they don't want their slaves to have rest.
Yeshua aka "Jesus" told us only the children can set the slaves free in John 8. There is a difference between mankind created in Genesis 1:26-27 (made from the Spoken Words: John 1:1-4 and John 6:63) and mankind replicated from the soil and split into two entities starting in Genesis 2:4-25. If you don’t know the children, it is very unlikely that you will know the True Parent to leave the false parents. This is why Yeshua said call no one on earth "father" [Matthew 23:9] contrary to Paul false statements in 1 Corinthians 4:15 that he is the "father" through the "gospels."😅😅😅
Anyone following Paul's blood sacrifice saves is following the devil and Babylon.
Matthew 7:15-20 is a key.... apply this to Genesis 1:29 and verse 31 to see the lie of Genesis 2:16-17 and the slaughter in Genesis 7 [LIAR and Murderer from the beginning indeed (John 8:44)].

@thethiefonthecross9092 NOTHING consistent in Yeshua's aka "Jesus's" words state such a thing about a "debt" being "finished" or paid in full. Matthew 5:17-20, Yeshua said he successfully fulfilled the laws and the prophets and that UNLESS our righteousness EXCEEDS that of the Pharisees, we shall by no means enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
Yeshua said that when we should ALWAYS Forgive or our Heavenly Creator will not Forgive Us (Matthew 6:14-15) and that DHOULD LOVE OUR ENEMIES so that we might be PERFECT as our Heavenly Creator!
Yeshua also said he overcame and hope we will overcome as well (Revelation 3:21).
Revelation is written long after Pharisees Saul Paul of Tarsus, who preferred to be called "Apostle" Paul. In fact, the gospels were also written AFTER Paul's epistle. The TRUE Apostles of Yeshua in which there was ONLY TWELVE APOSTLES (Matthew 10) TWELVE THRONES PROMISED which 1 of 12 belongs to Judah Iscariot aka "Judas" judging the TWELVE TRIBES OF ISRAEL (Matthew 19:28). And TWELVE FOUNDATIONS with the TWELVE APOSTLES in the New Jerusalem in Revelation 21:14, that as FOREVER TWELVE as it can get!
Yeshua said those who blessed are those who follow the commandments, they will rest from their LABORS (Revelation 14:12-13). Pharisees can add "saints," "Holy" people, etc. As well as "faith" to try to get it to natch their Pauline or Cathplics narratives all they want in Revelation 14:12-13, but Yeshua's dodciples_followers know his voice as spoken of in John 10 as well as other parts in John's Gspel.
So when people want to follow a fake apostle's words to the Lake of Fire, I am not sure why the lawless people get surprised about Matthew 7:21-23.... probably because they are reading the wrong translations. The Greek word anomia in Matthew 7:23 is properly rendered in NKJV as lawlessness identifying ALL CHRISTIANS buying a lying murderous Pharisee because they thought he "repented."
Few find that narraw path and small gate mentioned in Matthew 7. And sure, isn't anyone wearing the banner of Christianity.
NOTHING consistent in Yeshua's Words because they have ADDED and TAKEN AWAY from Yeshua's Spoken Words. For example, John 6:63 said the FLESH PROFITS NOTHING it is his spoken words is Spirit, and this gives life. So ask yourself if the FLESH PROFITS NOTHING, why would Yeshua tell others in John 6:49-58 to eat his FLESH as it is the Bread of Life as well to drink his blood?
As there was no easy way to put in a fake cannibalism story in Paul as they did the 3 "synoptic" gospels with a "last supper" they slide some falsehoods in John 6 about the same garbage as the fake "communion."🙄.
But when you know Yeshua's voice, the truth will set you free.

@@eternalfrostandsunshine That reminds me of Sir Desmond Doss... the army veteran who never fired a single shot but still saved lives in the battlefield. Literally. He was in the military to be a medic only as he wanted to honor the commandments while serving the country. He was very much like the "light" being talked about here [he made clear his personal principles], so he got a tougher time than most for not being like the other soldiers, even to the point of getting death threats, becoming a scapegoat for routine chores, and the pack mule for equipment [his load was literally heavier] within the troops.
He came to mind immediately when Sir David talked about "being the salt in the dunghill" combined with the comments here... his life really embodied it. There's a story about him on this platform. He's the type of Christian that comes to mind when someone says "Christ-like"... Not many self-professed "Christians" are like him..

Works don't save buddy so if you're referring to pick up your cross and follow him as in the Ten Commandments or being a Pharisee for salvation you're wrong. here just look what Paul says in the Bible he says that every believer will be at the judgement seat of Christ this is not the great white Throne judgement seat of God this is not the judgement seat of Nations this is the Judgment seat of Christ you must learn to rightly divide the word of Truth like the Bible tells you to but Paul says we will all be there and if a BELIEVER has GOOD WORKS he will receive REWARD but if a BELIEVER has BAD WORKS is works will be thrown in the fire and burnt and he will suffer loss BUT HE HIMSELF WILL BE SAVED. Do you see this man was a sinner and he had bad works but he's still saved there's a covenant called law and there's a covenant called Grace we are under grace we are not under the Covenant of the law you need to learn to distinguish the difference and understand the one you're under the Bible tells you to rightly divide the word of truth and not to be ashamed by doing it if you're not doing it you're going to be wrong plain and simple you're going to be juggling the Bible mixing new wine in old wineskins and plowing the field with an ox and a donkey something that should not be done but people do it anyway because they don't know better. They're separate stories in the Bible that clearly contradict each other and they need to be separated if not it's going to cause tons of confusion the best way to start learning to rightly divide is to know if it goes against Grace it's not for you who are underneath the Covenant of Grace there are separate promises you can't apply the law to someone who is under grace nor can you apply Grace to someone who is under the law unless God changes that dispensation but as for now we are under grace through Christ when the tribulation starts that changes there will be no Grace in the tribulation because the church will be gone when the church goes so does the covenant made for the bride who is the church. But I have so many other passages that prove grace alone saves like when the Bible says the RIGHTEOUSNESS of GOD is GAINED BY FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST and our own righteousness self-righteousness is by keeping the Ten Commandments. The Bible also says that by going to the law to be justified makes CHRIST SACRIFICE OF NO EFFECT and it is falling down from Grace. The Bible also says if you want to be saved by your own work and self-righteousness you better be more holy and righteous than the scribes and Pharisees what does this tell you? It tells even they are not good enough. They ask Jesus why do you sit and eat with the Sinners he said I came for the Lost not for those who "BELIEVE" they are righteous. You see those people who were under the law who were goody-two-shoes they just believed they were righteous because of their works and self-righteousness they were blind to see that we all fall short of the glory and not one Among Us is without sin and if you're guilty for the smallest you're guilty for them all and guilty means guilty. When Jesus defended the adulterous lady he drew a line in the sand he made the Pharisees turnaround and the Stones Fall from their hands. looks like none of them were righteous either right? But they love preaching the law and slinging them stones and pretending right? I think it's time that Christians just stop pretending already they need to Humble themselves instead of walking with their heads held high pretending they are better. Have you heard the story of The Sinner and the Pharisee praying? The Pharisee was going off about how great he was and thanking God for making him so great and thanking God for making him better than the sinner and then when the sinner said his prayer he was really humble and he asked God for forgiveness for he is a sinner and he lives a life of a sinner and God said when they went home the sinner was the one forgiven. Jesus Christ loves the lost so much he loves The Sinner so much that he didn't even want to sit down and eat with those goody-two-shoes and neither would I I would rather sit with the Sinners and eat any day than with the Goody Two-Shoes who just pretend they are righteous.

I heard a historian who happened to be an atheist say that Jesus of Nazareth was a greater philosopher then every other philosopher who ever lived put together, I agree and am amazed by Jesus' words, the way everything he says is so layered and having multiple deep and profound meaning, it's really incredible

Indeed... more layered than most people could ever begin to imagine. Anyone that calls themselves a Christian has zero idea of the rich layers he spoke in and shared.... I would know as I finally know Yeshua aka "Jesus" when I never knew him when I was a Christian. Thus Matthew 7:21-23 was true for me but no more as I know know Yeshua's voice as spoken of in John 10 and I know him and the Heavenly Father as spoken of in John 17:1-4.
All the best to you in knowing him as well.

This is great! I also read somewhere back in ancient times people would add salt to wicks, so the light would be amplified. So.. if we are salt to Christ's light, surely we would shine the brightest light in the darkness, showcasing Him more to those who are lost! Praying for anyone feeling stuck in a workplace as the only Christian, that you remain in God's Word, speak life to those around you, and may you be renewed each day with the Joy of the Lord, knowing His peace no matter the circumstances. ❤

And course for each month would end and at each month The Holy Spirit would make me get up and start talking about Jesus and Bis precious gift of salvation and how we shouldn’t fear. This was the beginning of the pandemic. I did this for a few times. I loved it was very uncomfortable for me me to do it but the Holy Spirit empowered me to do it. It
Was awesome. I pray God always uses me wherever He find fit. I love God. My son was so proud of me.

      @friendfortheartists 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

I'm old and I know it's dangerous to assume you're turning the bad guys into good guys. Isn't this the problem now? Isn't this the DANGER? The message here is just be the salt. The actions of TURNING itself by your own power requires the salt to pull in impurities, like judging, abusing authority, acquiring authority, pulling in others with the intentions of overwhelming the will of another, -all which can be successful for a short time. The results are like seeds that fell on soil and all perish.
Just being the salt or the light might be the best point here. Focusing in on the effects of it takes our eyes off the prize. The constant act of surrendering to the light and just being. Letting scripture exude from our hearts and not imposing laws or seeking to impose laws on the bad guy just causes bad salt.
Which is better. 1. Offer a homeless person refuge without stating any conditions. 2. Tell the homeless person they can only have refuge if they practice religion as prescribed by your church. Once they eat, are clean, and they are rested and capable of discernment which condition will leave their heart seeking more light and which condition will leave them without enough oil in their lamp to keep their light burning?
You see something alarmed me in this video. The obvious anti-gay agenda which contains the 2nd option or choice is pretty much causing the salt to loose it's flavor. If you're in God's house under the first option wouldn't the vision become pretty much be sexless neither homosexual, or heterosexual but rather being and surrendering to be virgin like without effort. Afterall isn't this the condition we will be transformed into in heaven?
Anyways I won't risk becoming foolish any further by writing more. As even writing this has the risk of mixing in impurities to make my salt tasteless or to cut off the oil for my lamp to burn. It's humbling to know how fragile a singular lamp is yet encouraging to know it's not by your will but by your surrender and need he will provide all the oil you will need. Got to go now too close to becoming foolish.

Surprise.here just look what Paul says in the Bible he says that every believer will be at the judgement seat of Christ this is not the great white Throne judgement seat of God this is not the judgement seat of Nations this is the Judgment seat of Christ you must learn to rightly divide the word of Truth like the Bible tells you to but Paul says we will all be there and if a BELIEVER has GOOD WORKS he will receive REWARD but if a BELIEVER has BAD WORKS is works will be thrown in the fire and burnt and he will suffer loss BUT HE HIMSELF WILL BE SAVED.

Except this isnt what being 'salt of the earth' actually means. Jesus was talking to Helenized Jews. Salt in the Bible ALWAYS symbolizes preservation. This can be negative (as in Lot's wife 'looking back' and continuing to practice the customs and beliefs they had just fled from. Or salt can be positive; as in preserving the OT scriptures that were being changed and misinterpreted with 1st century Jews using the greek septuigent. Someone who is salt of the earth is someone who preserves and practices the original teachings of scripture.

I kid you not they said "we're letting you go becuase the others complained that you are wierd and they dont want to work with you" . I left that place with a great hurt in my heart, and then i understood and felt what Jesus felt when he was hated for preaching thr truth. I never cursed or spoke of the wicked things they did. I lawyered up and had a case that was practically won. But The LORD told me otherwise as an answer to a prayer, i was obedient and He has not left or forsaken me a day in my life since then.

Like many of us, one among the wolves, but this shows how important our job is to the others who are in darkness. Only God knows the true purpose why we are where we are. Nothing pleasant for us but there must be a reason, very good reason. I think we all will be surprised when all these things are revealed to us on “the day of payment” (judgement for Christians).
Imagine that for every word you spoke to stand for God you will be paid, I think many of us will be literally shocked.
Personally I wait for the day when I will be able to meet all those Christians wearing crowns and listen to their stories.

@SecretsOfScriptures, apparently, you have not read scriptures. As the commenter on this thread posted 12 days prior to me implied Matthew 6:24-34 where Yeshua aka "Jesus" said pick "God" [where 1 John 4:16 said "God" is love] or Mammon/Wealth; that ypu CANNOT pick both! Hence why the rich young ruler was unable to give his Wealth to his poor neighbors as he did not pick Love/"God" as seen in Matthew 19:14-29. Yeshua further went on in Matthew 6:25-34 to tell us to seek the kingdom and its righteousness and all our needs will be fulfilled. King Solomon was specifically mentioned in this very passage for a reason.
So you can go seeking after Mammon or Love of Others .... but not both. All the best.

Nothing lives in the sea of salt - salt absorbs oxygen, swells the cells, smothers out all life as we know it. There are no fish in the Dead Sea. But, this, too serves to teach us that when we allow God in our hearts, He becomes everything, the things of the world die out to us and we ‘float’ on top of the salt so our lives will shine that all men will see His Light and the Path to Him becomes clear in the darkness. Let’s the salt in the Sea of Life choke out the cares and the sins of the world. God loves us, Jesus died for us. He rose again to lead us to Him.

      @natwil735 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @aliciabodington,
A spiritual spark led me to seek and find truth.... what I found devastated 30+ years of falsehoods! I was shocked and dismayed in June 2015. I went into hiding and held tightly to "Jesus." On 11 Feb 2018, the Spirit of Truth called me to seek and I was consumed with a spiritual fire that could not be quenched. I thought I was shocked before, but that was nothing! By 9 Sep 2018 with two days shy of 7 months of seeking over 2,700+ hours, I was released from slavery and death as Yeshua aka "Jesus" spoke of in John 8.
I no longer call myself a "Christian" as the Bright Light and Voice claiming to be Yeshua that Pharisee Saul Paul of Tarsus who preferred to be called "Apostle" Paul met on the wilderness road to Damascus [Acts 9, 22, and 26] is none other than the First Beast of Revelation 13 and Paul is the Second Beast/False Prophet of Revelation. Yeshua warned us against this very meeting in Matthew 24:1-31 (especially in v.23-31). I recommend staying away from Paul Epistles... a Google search can tell you which of the 7 are his for sure and the other 6 that are believed not to be his.... and virtually everyone (scholar related) knows that Hebrews isn't his.
You have not offered much on here... all purposes are for us to LEAVE Babylon as told in Revelation 18 and to Steadfastly Love EVERYONE (Matthew 5:43-48) ALWAYS as Yeshua loves us (John 13:34) and FORGIVE EVERYONE ALWAYS (Matthew 6:14-15). This is our True purpose.
All the best to you in understanding the above.

For example, going to church every Sunday and reciting scripture but then you know they are sinning the other 6 days or being proud. Is pursuing humility and humbleness a “work”? I’ve struggled to understand how to make God pleased with me, an ignorant and rebellious creation who found Him late in life. Your comment helped bring me closer to understanding “saved by grace” - is it as simple as just being humble, non-judgmental and compassionate? I guess I get confused because Jesus sent his apostles out to share the scripture. Or to be kind to orphans and widows. Is that considered works? Or is it only “works” if I’m doing it for recognition?

@@gina00013 I would say a Believer who depends on his Works to save him is depending on his own righteousness self-righteousness kind of pretending to be Worthy because of works. I would say a Pharisee is someone who points their fingers quoting the law but can't uphold it to the fullest they pretend on the outside someone who thinks they are better and you are not because they believe a certain way and you don't or they live life a certain way and you don't. As for the part of praying on Sunday and trying to be good but the rest of the six days they do whatever they want they are just as much saved every other day of the week as they were on Sunday the only thing that makes us different from a unbeliever is just that they don't believe you have some unbelievers who live really good lives and do not sin much and we have that on both sides of the fence good Believers bad Believers good unbelievers bad unbelievers . It's hard to please God but I'm sure we can try just giving the good fight do the best you can like you said try to be non-judgmental be compassionate have patience work on yourself as much as you can but just remember if you don't measure up you are still saved only your faith saves you. Works are good and there's lots of purpose for works they are important and works are pretty much anything good like you said helping the orphans widows homeless helping someone out in general giving the good fight spreading the good news spreading love happiness and joy making people's day better, being the light being the warmth of the room try not to let the enemy affect you physically mentally try to keep that smile on Etc. Works help you in life to have more blessings and less headaches and problems Works help you avoid the cursings of a Believer not giving the good fight and having works, you can gain crowns and rewards at the Judgment seat of Christ which are super cool. But if a believer does not have works or does not give the good fight they can have a life with more headaches and problems they can have their mind turned over reprobate and if a Believer goes too far into darkness they can have an untimely death they also can lose crowns and rewards at the Judgment seat of christ but they will not lose their salvation that was gained through faith in Jesus Christ. So works are good they are called upon us and we should try our best I myself struggle with sin in different areas of my life I am no better than the thief on the cross I'm just happy he saved a wrench like me and I hope I could scrape up what I can to earn something up there on that day at the Judgment seat of Christ. If someone is just doing works for recognition for the eyes of the people and not for God's purpose or to please him then I would doubt that person being a Believer and their works are just good deeds but have nothing to do with pleasing God or gaining something from God but if there is a Believer who would fit this scenario of doing works just for the eyes of the people I would think it would still be considered works as in good works but I can be wrong on that part but if someone's doing it for recognition of God so God can see what they're doing I would consider that good works. I believe being humble is definitely a work because it is so hard for me anyway. Being saved by grace is as simple as putting all your faith and trust and believe in Jesus Christ. His finish works paid in full at the cross a free gift that cannot be earned. If a Believer is pretending to be righteous and Worthy like some Holy Roller going to church and being good for one day out of the week and talking about how great they are and pretending they are above I would say that person is a hypocrite not really self-righteous or a Pharisee but maybe a Pharisee could be used in this situation but I would believe a Pharisee is more like someone who lives a decent life but really over promotes it add points their fingers always trying to look for other people's dirt and flaws to make them feel better about themselves. Sorry for the scramble of examples I hope this helps you and you made my day telling me that I helped you kind of understand saved by grace The Joy from that alone you have no idea thanks take care and God bless . I will pray for you I also need prayers because like I said I have my own flaws and problems.

@@gina00013 there's these two videos one will help you understand grace alone through faith in Christ and the other one will help you learn how to rightly divide the word of Truth knowing what verses are for you and what are not. The first video teaches you about grace alone is titled ""this Doctrine destroys all heresies"". The next video teaches you what is for you and what is not is titled ""Heretics who use the Bible good stuff"". And it really is good stuff I hope you find some time to watch these videos and if there's anything else any questions maybe I can answer them for you or point you in the right direction just let me know.

I was led here for a reason 😢❤ I needed this!! God heard me today!! My heart now knows he's in me and knows me!! My mind too!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 I saw my counselor today and we were talking about my job, I'm in retail, and the chaotic stress it brings. The ugliness I've seen out there is sad .
