I used to have an ARMY user name and I made a comment one day on another KPOP artist's MV (a very positive comment). I was attacked by other commenters. I was so surprised. I ended up changing my user name to reflect the fact I support many groups but it still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth that my comments were not "acceptable" because I showed support to a different group through my name. So silly. You guys "Do You" and say what you want to say during your reactions. Merry Christmas!
Im gonna explain you why that happend to you and many other people... Leaving comments saying things related to others groups when there's a lot of others groups that do the same... And its more annoying when kpopers or army talk about bts while watching other groups content, because 1. A lot of armys are so egocentrics, and say things like "bts paved the way" "bts best than your flops" and many more while belittling other groups 2. Some armys compare EVERYTHING with bts, like if an idol wears a clothe then army HAS to say "oh that sweater remains me of tae because he used it 😜" or " all this looks like bon vayage" like stfu, bts isnt the only one and not the first. 3. Army is EVERYWHERE and seeing so many of then tapking only about bts make kpopers mad af (including me lol), believe me, im an army too, and when i only knew about bts i was curious about the world of kpop so 3 years after ONLY follow bts i decided to stan more groups and i never had the need of compare groups with bts or leave comments belittling other groups, the 2nd group that i started following was TxT and i never called them "the younger brothers of bts" that name NEVER cross my mind until i was more into watching kpop content in youtube. With aaaall that i wanna said that there's no necessity of say whatever you think of in the moments because it can turn annoying and PLEASE TRUST ME, you will regret being so dumb for relate everything to bts and compare the minimum things.
I absolutely i agree, you like who like and you are allowed to support others. I felt attacked myself once as I made a comment on a BTS video as I was new to their content and got made to feel stupid by another commenter 😢
