You should really include House Stark of Winterfell. I think they we're briefly mentioned in one of the books and it would be so cool if you gave them some love 👉👈 I would love if GRRM also gave one of their members a pov chapter, but that will never happen
@lukex827 seriously??? Also, house Velaryon is mentioned in both Fire and Blood along with Clash. I remember that because it sounds like Valerian. Do you think GRRM has some hidden canon about them originating from there?
How about a video on good places to start a Custom House? One of your other videos, someone suggested a good place was replacing the Dustonburys of the River Mander because they don't have any significance in the lore, and playing there could lead to a strong position in the Reach. You could look for places/houses that don't have much lore to disrupt and are still interesting to start/play with a Custom House.
I haven't seen anyone mention barbrey dustin yet, starts with the all of the dustin lands despite being a ryswell (her husband died at the tower of joy) and is 2nd in line to inherit her fathers duchy right beside her. Also you get an easy alliance with the boltons through your sisters marriage to roose. You start young, unmarried, have good dna and a lore friendly / canon reason to depose Ned Stark and take the north for yourself.
Apple banner = pain in my butt lol I defeated Maelys and ended up with the bad apple Fossoway as a vassal and the dude had no kids, refused all marriage attempts I did, ended up marrying an older woman when he was already nearly 50 (I think she was like 10+ years older than him and he picked her himself) who he outlived with no kids. Now he passed and the Apples from the reach now have a chunk of my southern territory. I’m a Paramount now so alas I can’t just fight the Fossoways I would need to fight the Reach. My wife is a Tyrell but I lost the alliance when the Florents overthrew the Tyrells for Paramount of the Reach. So I lost that advantage of having 30k Tyrell swords to defend me and ended up having to throw in with the Lannisters and Baratheons to attempt a strong enough alliance to take back what is mine but I’ve found Myr easier to expand into than get my territory back since getting a hook on a Targaryen ruler has been so hard preventing me from outright taking back the patchwork in the middle of my freshly surfaced kingdom lol
the house customizer/joiner is my fav. I started in lakehaven + joined house strong (2 brothers unlanded are in the riverlands w/ claims on harrenhal) then invite my surviving fam. Take back harrenhal w/ house Strong. So any other houses w/ cool claims but maybe unlanded? More of that would be cool
I think rulers of Dorne traditionally use the title of Prince/Princess after princess Nymeria, not "the king". And that's long before Targaryens came to the Westeros. Also, Dorne has never been conquered by Aegon I, it was the last region of Westeros added to the kingdom, after numerous attempts to conquer Dorne by various Targaryen kings, they finally united with Iron Throne peacefully during the reign of Daeron II Targaryen. Hence, Martells are still using the title "Prince of Dorne," so as the only of Lords Paramount they can use their traditional title from before the conquest. So, at least according to the canon, there is no king of Dorne, but Prince, and this title was never abolished. Personally, I don't think "peaceful" unification like this of Dorne and Iron Throne has strong precedents in our medieval history, so I don't think this makes much sense, but yeah, this is how it went according to Martin and his assistants 😉 Most likely Martells heard about the Song of Ice and Fire and decided it's better to be with Targaryens than against them, like allegedly Starks before them.
BTW. Dorne is an extreme case of orientalism on Martin's part: they're modelled after Middle East in terms of culture, clothing, appearance, etc. But they use the same language, have the same names, and have the same religion as "white people" from further north. It's every medieval crusader's wet dream.
I’ll be making videos for those when they drop. I have a few I’d definitely play as personally - Peake for example since they were much stronger during the first rebellion.
@@Inkspeckle Yeah. Honestly I'm more excited for Blackfyre anyway. Dragons are so OP I have no idea how you could counter that in game reasonably (I never played CK2 AGOT).

Wolf bois get no love 😞
I think he should talk about House Targaryen, they are quite a minor and obscure house.
@lukex827 I think I've heard of them. Aren't they briefly mentioned in Fire and Blood or something?
@@emeraldkrown848 Yeah they are mentioned a couple of times during the Dance of Dragons.

A smaller goal for Farwynds of Lonely Light could be to become the Dynasty Head as currently they are a lesser cadet branch of the Farwynds

Fun fact Dustonbury is the old seat of house Manderly
That’s a fantastic idea. I’ll def be crediting this comment.
I also would love to see that
i wanna see this too!
Would love to see this as this is usually the way I play this mod. Its a great way to roleplay and create your own lore.

Funny enough I have the Dustin’s actually featured in my final of these videos which releases next week lol
Dude I'm addicted to your ck3 stuff. Especially videos in this form cause it gives me ideas to play while I wait for the next video lol
That's very kind of you thank you
Apple banner = automatic chad status
Appley bois for life

The only one I can think of off the top of my head is the House Mudd claimant in the Blackwood court.

House Codd - the Millwall F.C. of Westeros
5:56 The "another one" with incest is Craster beyond the wall. c:
House Borrell to conquer the world as fish people
A good small house to play as is House Cole. Their liege lords are the Dondarrions
Like the one Criston was from?
@@Soul_Tomato Yup. There could be some fun goals like getting a member of your house in the Kingsguard
Yea go house yronwood! Best dornish house
Love it thank you!
You are so welcome!
Gotta play this game!!
You def should
Also, have you thought about similar good starting houses for other Bookmarks like Blackfyre Rebellion or Dance of the Dragons when the mod adds them?
I’ll be making videos for those when they drop. I have a few I’d definitely play as personally - Peake for example since they were much stronger during the first rebellion.
I think the Dance bookmark will only really be possible once they add dragons as a mechanic

Dude i wish i would be able to play this game but my pc cant even start it anymore🥲
I think North of the wall could be some cool houses/tribes ?
is it mod specific?
the best time i had playing was clegane but I could not take the kingdom of the rock
It’s hard to get a big enough ally to take them on but you can look to the reach and collect a few if you get lucky and have a few kids.
Is House Wylde inspired by Zakk Wylde? I’ve always wondered that.
I hope so hha
More
Haha I may do one more
Hate how the game keeps crashing
Is it a recent issue for you?
