@@kityeewu7946 Give them some respect by calling them the name of a flower instead. They became our best friends after our big family vanished into individual much smaller nuclear families. We used to have gathering with them and their families when I was still a small child.
There was also a incident at Tsim Sha Tsui Central Railway Station where the Indian police opened fire at people suspected as demonstrators who were leaving for China.

在1923年,為限制新界農地建屋,司徒拔宣佈了一項新界農地建房的補地價政策。由於港府以往沒有這種限制,再加上新例有損新界居民之業權,而其中不少人更認為補地價政策與《展拓香港界址專條》存在抵觸,這遂引起了新界鄉民的強烈反對。為使港府撤回政策,新界鄉紳曾先後約見過華民政務司和定例局華人議員周壽臣等人,要求司徒拔「收回成命」,但司徒拔仍然無動於衷。

They opened fire at the Irish about the same time in Ireland during the Anglo Irish Civil War.
Lots of matters were handled by guns in those days.
1922 is also not a good year for Ireland. The British bully can be seen everywhere !
