I love Billie Holiday’s music like ever since I saw the movie forever Young with Mel Gibson and Jamie, Lee Curtis and Elijah Wood and they had her song playing in the movie. The very thought of you I started listening to more of her songs on this list here, and it just brings me nothing but joy and happiness especially when I’m doing a lot of packages as a security guard here at work I feel like I’m always traveling back in time when I listen to her music

Earthquake 1988 in Québec, was listening to Billie while rollin a JJ and fell off the couch it shook so much. Strange fruit was playing. Havn't looked back since. This woman is Blues/Jazz/big band... She is Satin!
She's not(for some strange reason) not categorized as a jazz performer but really rather as a pop singer which reminds me why I have no urge to categorize most vintage music,as,it's charm is usually derived from the innocent ,honesty and trustworthiness heard in it's lyrics,not that they didn't have the same kind of people than we have it's just that people had more dignity and had simpler and less deprived lives!there wasn't a long history of false starts,outside relationship destructiveness,and the effects of that.sad,sad,sad for us more than anyone,the Vietnam widow,psychtelevision ,the sidewalk analyst(nice of Woody not to warn "don't do this at home" please!where did Americans all sign away every second of their entitled privacy than can be snatched away by any stranger,...even kids. but you know who started it!!!!!!!!!-gilles jaxxokk n'cn'not
