it's been a few years since I tried to get into mcr and while I love bullets so much the rest of the albums just don't do it for me. the main reason it's Matt, bullets is super raw and emotional and energetic and he's an awesome drummer, most of the time drums are the first thing I pay attention to in music and bullets it's a masterclass in that regard
@@lianjui might blow your mind with this reply butttt he actually also is the drummer on three cheers for sweet revenge :) the reason that bob bryar, the second drummer, is in the music videos and live performances from three cheers onwards is because matt had been fired, i believe, before three cheers was released. i hope you can come around to liking that album too, cause his drumming prowess and writing also shines strongly on that album too!!! though i agree the first album is full of rawness and emotion i like to think the follow-up only refined those elements :)

If you had the CD then you’d see he’s in the band photo and has his special thanks section in the CD insert. Matt was fired 4 days before the I’m Not Okay music video was filmed.
