Great one, here's the stuff I liked: 1. An excuse for the console to not be turned off. In almost every single video the user would just keep the console running on purpose, kinda ruining the whole thing. Here though, the user *does* try to turn off the console but can't. 2. The tests. They're well made in my opinion. 3. The fatal error is actually good this time. I loved the smoke alarm detail and *FINALLY* it's not some "FATAL ERROR 666 THE DEVIL IS COMING FOR YOU" stuff. It's something that *could* realistically happen instead of just having the console be possessed or something. 4. It just looks good. Maybe you could've switched up the font to make it look like the menu's font, but it still looks great and faithful. I also like that you kept the logo consistent. The PAL version uses the blue logo and I liked that it didn't randomly change to red. Great job!

That’s kind of realistic! You know, many kill screens at the end shows these lines: Sayonara (Goodbye in Japanese), Omega, and/or 666. This proves to be unreal and worthless. But your kill screen, is different. It’s good and real! Good work!

Fun fact: Dreamcast in my case does not show any over-heating warnings. But it actually stops reading cd's untill it cools down! On mine you have like 1,5 minute to quickly load the CD and then if it won't you need to wait about 15 mins for it to cool down. Or else it will just say CD Not found or something like that.
For some reason, I really love the killscreen! Nice homage and credits to TheGreatUnknown, as well as a unique twist overall. Looks like something that COULD be real. No jumpscares or screamers, which is a relief. Nice work!
i love this screen, especially at the shutdown or recovery stage. it shows that even shutdowning doesnt work, whereas other killscreens pretend that the user is an idiot
Here's how to make it real: 1. Use Dreamcast popups and a pixel text (like Dreamcast of course does) 2. A quick error (Like for Wii, it does 'Exception (DSI) occured !') 3. If the Dreamcast no longer can run, make it show bunch of randomness on a black screen. This includes random unicodes, numbers, symbols, letters. That makes it a little bit more trustable, considering the fact that Dreamcast is now all plaintext showing raw content of the files that are currently loading, rather than showing what we actually should see. 3'5. If the Dreamcast actually did what it was supposed to do, show a popup in a plain white screen that says "Your Dreamcast is heavily damaged. Please send your console to SEGA for a repair." and make it show only 1 button that's auto-selected. It should say "Shutdown". This screen will always show up if Dreamcast is able to boot up normally.
When you would process the render test, you could raise the cpu temperature to like 85 and drop it back with veeery slow loading, although this killscreen is actually very good
