- We tried to do as many houses as quickly as possible with the Universal Express Pass at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights. If you want to know how many HHN houses you can do we break it down in this vlog! We also made sure to arrive for the Stay and Scream early entry and with both this and the express pass we managed to do so much!
The houses as well as the scare zones at Halloween Horror Nights were amazing and I take you around the Universal Studios Park with me to check them out. I also give you a debrief on exactly how many houses we managed to do with the express pass and tell you which ones were our favourite.

I attended HHN last year for the first time ever. I didn't get a single jump scare in any of the houses although I did see movement in the shadows beside me once. The groups in front of me and behind me were getting lots of them. They were probably resetting when I went by. The scare zones were fun to people watch in. I've been a manager at Walmart too long to get scared by ghouls in my face in the scare zones; my first reaction was to smile and greet them. Seriously. HhN was fun but not as scary as my job can be. 😅

Great atmosphere, colours, entrance decor and merchandise. Also loved the black / yellow merchandise. I do love Halloween and Autumn 🍂 🎃. I’m just munching on Border Dark Chocolate covered Ginger biscuits & Ginger beer. Yum! All the best! 👹 👿 🧟♀️ 🧟♂️

Oh I love a HHN vlog, mainly for the screams 🤣. Can't wait for my trip this year, everything is now booked. Well apart from the HHN tickets.

Is the Express Pass basically like Disney’s Lightning Lane? Do you have to book slots or do you just step in the line? I’m too much of a chicken to do Halloween Horror Night haha
No it doesn’t work like Disney - you don’t have to book anything, you can just use the express lane for any of the houses (or rides if you get it for a regular park day). I like that I can then just do what I fancy and don’t have to plan it / wait for specific times. You can get a one time express pass to do every house (or ride if regular park day) once or you can the unlimited one so you can use the express lane as many times as you like!

Hey Karen 🤗 I am doing HHN for the first time this year - how much more is the express pass? I’m super scared to do it but I want to try it once and I’ll either love it or hate it 😝 I’m glad you guys had such a fab time 🩷 xxx
The express pass is quite expensive! It was $159.99 each before tax. The HHN ticket itself was $79.99 and that’s separate too. It’s such a fun night!
It's a shame we rarely get to hear what your dad is saying clearly. He needs to be fitted with his own microphone.
YES he really does! I've got a new camera and a second microphone for the next trip for this very reason!
