i wish everyone would stop hating on the pianist, it's ridiculous that people would sum up Mrs. Vinogradova off of one not perfect performance. when my teacher worked with her, he was completely floored by how amazing she was as a musician and accompanist.
she is an excellent fiddler, but [& no offense to the pianist!] the piano part is awful & so mechanical it spoils it for me!... i also prefer the sarasate arrangement...never liked the waxman, even tho it's often played....however, i think hattori is fabulous...very clean & pure sound!...many thanx for the upload..
Perfect technically and exploited so much of the musical violinistic potentials that Waxman brought out but missed the fatal Seductive character that Bizet wrote Carmen to be in the opera ! Please don't study but go enjoy thay opera that Bizet wrote for you !!
The Hattori's sound is absolute great! Marvellous!! Rich in colors and powerful! She is very honest...!

and bear in mind there is a reason she was the pianist for maxim vengerov's early recordings. calm down and show some respect
