I just bought this car 2017 Elantra Limited and slow it isnt and this is a very comfortable car and it handles superb in cornering and handling. There was no body roll and have no idea what your talking about performance wise. This car definitely out classes previous elantra models from 2011 on. My car is a loaded leather seated rocket and performs out standing! Especially when I use it in sport mode.
I would try to get them down to 16500 to 17K with out leather on an SE with only the tech pkg - I'd go the higher amount if they are gonna throw in extras like extended warranty or accessories - maybe the first 3 oil changes for free and the plant in the office and if you are gonna make payments at least your first payment made by them. Good luck either way! It really is a great car and I am sure you will love it!
I purchased a used 2017 Elantra limited with 25k miles and I'm in love with it. If you are in the market to buy a car, I recommend test driving an Elantra! :D
50shadesofpaint I just picked up one of these a few days ago. Limited trim with the ultimate tech package. Leather seats, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control. 13k miles on it. What a freaking nice car!
@@TurkeyBaconSandwich9er How does it drive? How's the acceleration? I drive a 2015 BMW 320x with 180 horsepower, so I'm a little concerned about the pickup in this model with 147 hp. I'm thinking of switching in order to save money on premium gas, the safety features are outstanding, and the tech is up to date with Android Auto. We've owned three Hyundais over the years (wife drives a Kona currently) so we feel Hyundai builds quality vehicles. Looking forward to your response.
Victor Trevino acceleration is adequate. It’s definitely more peppy in Sport mode than regular. But I mostly use it on the normal drive mode and it gets up to speed fairly quickly. It won’t win you any races but it will move you around quite efficiently.
Victor Trevino I owned a 2016 Elantra SE before this one and the 2017 has better acceleration. I can’t speak for your BMW I have never driven one before. It probably won’t accelerate as fast as that car, but it’s got enough to get you up to speed.
@@TurkeyBaconSandwich9er Thanks for the thoughtful response! The car sounds like it's responsive and quick enough to be a daily driver. There is a certified version of this exact car with the Tech + Ultimate packages that you have for sale near me with 18k miles for $15000. It's been for sale for four months and they keep lowering the price. I may go test drive it soon. Thanks again.
They gave me this car as a loaner while my genesis coupe was getting fixed. Gotta say it's a great little car! Has plenty of pep and is easy to drive and rides real nice. I was pleasantly surprised.
+1nfinitysL1mit Yeh it's pretty cool. Hopping back in my Coupe, my steering wheel felt super heavy and the suspension was very stiff. Obviously different cars, but it was funny to see the difference.
you have to note that the steering wheel "stiffens" as you accelerate and reach top speeds which prevents the "easy" steering at low speeds. the steering wheel stiffens once you're past 8 - 9 mph or 12- 15kph (ish)
It's so great to finally see a thread of comments that actually give Hyundai credit where they are due. Most people choose to bolt Hyundai/KIA's past reputation to their current line up, but they are seriously mistaken. I love my 2011 Elantra and I love this model even more. I want the Sonata though haha
+Antwon Powell Yeh people who still say "but its a Hyundai" are living too much in the past. When the Genesis Coupe came out that's one of the first things I said about it. And I've owned and loved mine for 4.5 years. 2010 and up are right on par with Honda and Toyota in quality, and most have better features and nicer styling. Also, Hyundai/Kia is now a larger company than Honda.
Honda4RideRed Exactly! And I'm currently a mechanical engineer at the KIA plant that makes the Sorento, Optima, and Santa Fe, and I can attest to the fact that quality is something neither company handles lightly. I love HyundaiKIA because they keep people who aren't necessarily in the luxury market on their toes at to what they're going to do next. When you consider how far these two company have come in the last decade, it's amazing considering it takes some car makers DECADES to do the same.
+Antwon Powell Yeh really. They have been the fastest growing company over the past few years. When Genesis Comes out as it's separate brand, that will be the first new car company since Scion came out. And I don't even know when the last "new" car company came out. So they are definitely growing in such a positive direction!
+Antwon Powell a lot of money for a hyindai is not even worth it for a rental car thats all they good for and what about the resale value is a joke and the car dont even last you a year with out problems.
michael cosme.......my mom has owned a range of 9 different cars that didn't last since '95.. The first Hyundai car she bought was mine back in 2013 for graduation (2011 Elantra). To this day, best car we've ever owned and it just hit 120,000 miles. STILL just as smooth as when we bought it & NO PROBLEMS. The 2nd car she bought was a 2015 Optima once she realized how reliable mine was. She already put 35,000 miles on the car because she drives 2 hours to work each day... We both have base model versions of our cars and we couldn't be any happier with the cars we've invested our money into. Everyone else can continue to walk past the Hyundai/KIA showrooms, but it's their loss if they're only in the market to shop for a nameplate.
Had my 17 Elantra SE for almost a year now since totaling my 03 Elantra. Got it for 9K with 81K miles at the time (87K now). I only had an issue with its ignition coils and spark plugs causing a misfire. It’s overall a fun car to drive around
did changing out the coils and spark plugs fix the issue? because i’m currently going through that right now with my elantra (65k miles) we got the spark plugs changed but not the ignition coils.
Got this car as a 17th birthday present and absolutely loved it, one night I had low visibility and drove into a pole going 6-8MPH roughly. Completely totaled the fucking car, changed my mind entirely.
Wow! Thats crazy to total the car in a slow speed accident like that. But Hyundai cars loos value so quickly, they aren't worth much once they are a few years old. What did you replace it with?
+Jus Like That I'm excited for the Genesis coupe vehicle. Hopefully Hyundai comes out with another coupe, and Kia is supposedly coming out with a turbo FRS competitor.
Having a 2017 Elantra Limited, it is a thrill to sit in and in winter the heated seats are a joy. Loving the entertainment system, the radio has all the stations that we enjoy from classical to rock music and some indie. The buttons for air ventilation are a great feature and can control where to the car the air is projection to from a few different poses or combinations of the user selection. It is a 5 person seat capable and the trunk is great for grocer shopping or maybe a few hobby shop or other objects and items. Not as much room of course as a van or truck version though. The Elantra is fine in the pleasure model department and it really shows. It bucks up quite good when pressing the pedal and it gains acceleration as well. Power doors and windows and can open the doors with a small remote. A very positive experience with the Elantra for here and the family. A beautiful outside view though the back might seem too sweet, the inside is very inviting and intelligent in its distinct category to go with it. The cup holders are great when making a trip to a restaurant and similar ideas possibly a beach with a kiosk too. The new thing learn about is the 6 gears to shift, found that information new and useful as well as navigation on the wheel which is also a good surprise - make sure to get to know it and it is a blast am certain. I'm not too sure. But take a look at the used market and see what other 2018 Limited trims are going for with that mileage. That'll tell you if its a good price
Do not be fooled. I had a 2013 Hyundai Elantra sport. I went to go trade it in a few days ago. I had $1,000 left to pay on the car. I bought the car $23,000 plus tax title and license. My Elantra had 40,000 miles on it when I went to trade it in. And let me tell you, the value of that car dropped so low, I was in shock... They wanted to give me $2,000 for a trade in. I was like what! Anyway I later found out that Hyundai has a bad resell value. It drops really fast, so please be careful.

I'm not too sure. But take a look at the used market and see what other 2018 Limited trims are going for with that mileage. That'll tell you if its a good price
excellent
Very nice
This is very nice but I like the sculpted sleek design of my 2014 Elantra better. But still, this is a very good looking car inside and out.
what is the songs name in starting
Kinda disapointed that this doesn't have parking sensors.
2016 Honda Civic Sedan Review. th-cam.com/video/76MBTXq3FgI/w-d-xo.html
Lol they wanted to give you $2000 for a 2013 Elantra with 40k and you still purchased a car from them? They STOLE your trade in.

Katheryne LMAO SOMEBODY CALL THE POLICE!
Where is the lock cylinder
Complete fucking waste of time when you’re trying to find out how to remote start the car with the key Farb
Does android auto work with this?
+Vixen SFO I'm not 100% sure. Call your local Hyundai Dealer and they can tell you for sure.
فيديو رائع

Bought a 16 Civic touring, pretty sure it beats this Elantra.
+Eric Mcdonald They are both very comparable. Here is a review I did on that Civic. th-cam.com/video/76MBTXq3FgI/w-d-xo.html
Is it me or does the wheels look small.
wow, the model sold in mexico is too butchered compared to the USA version, a lot of equipment we dont have, not even in the limited version
+anemite2 oh wow. Is it the same price (when converted to USD) as the US spec?
+Honda4RideRed ... Limited tech Navi is around $20,000 dlls in México (under the 20k)
+Terryakamaru That seems like a better deal than us spec. This was $27k USD
This kid is old enough to drive?

Junk cars! Had a brand new 13 Elanatra Limited With Tech package. Fell apart in less than a year, bring it back and forth to the dealership. Got rid of it. Lesson learned, u get what u pay for!
Maurice-Stop acting childish. Every brand out there had a problem at one time or another.
