@American Esperantist How is it not "li devis doni akvon al mu"? (Near the end of this vid) Because its present-tense? (+as)? Also, "Li devas doni al mi , akvon" is also correct right

When using complementary infinitives, should the verbs be right after each other or can they have words in between? For "He must give water to me", I wrote "Li devas akvon al mi doni". Now that I've seen your translation, yours seems more logical. But is mine also okay?
I would avoid that word order. What if instead of saying "Li volas doni akvon al mi", you said "Li volas akvon doni al mi"? This would be confusing because it sounds like you're saying "Li volas akvon" (he wants water). I hope that thought experiment helps a little.

Are you talking about an object of preposition? Either way, I don't think that technicality changes the understanding of that aspect of Esperanto grammar.
At 3:35 You said “mi faris panon por vi” But isn’t it “mi faris panon por ci” ????? And at 4:30 I thinks it’s not “vi ne marsos rapide” but “ci ne marsos rapide” !!!!!

we could have had "dative" for indirect objects, but it would probably have made Esperanto more complicated.

yes, it does as I'm still a beginner but I get the idea what you're saying it does work as if you switch it has the same meaning.

What about a sentence where the direct object is implied? Like "The waiter served the customer". Is it just "La kelnero servis al la kliento"?
you don't need to use "al" because the direct object is customer. the sentence in esperanto will be like this: La kelnero servis la klienton

"Ci" is almost never used in practice. "Vi" is the standard Esperanto pronoun for second person singular and second person plural.
