Happy to have it. Just got promoted to Chromium last month and using the rebel fleet as my 4th fleet, mostly carried by my Falcon and and Y-wing with some support from mid gear Phoenix needed for Thrawn unlock. Adding this ship is a nice boost as I am now intrigued to gear up Dash and use him to prop up my soon to be unlocked Bando team. It is a fun addition that gives me more reason to gear up a character before becoming accelerated drops.
All these ships are cool and all, but I’m still wondering what they’re gonna do if the ravager leak is actually real considering it’ll be a capital ship with a faction that has like 3 ships
I think that this might be the start of CG planning on making a new rebel fleet to be based on and released around the same time as the Rogue Squadron movie coming next Christmas. I think that the Outrider is supposed to end up with Admiral Ackbar while Wedge and Biggs will end up in the new Rogue Squadron fleet being the only two character who were a canonically a part of Rogue Squadron. This makes sense because Rogue Squadron is known for taking on nearly impossible tasks and succeeding and would make for a good counterpart to the executor (which just got a change). Since it is going to be the first new Star Wars movie we’ve had in awhile it would make sense for them to do something big in game for it. If they do end up doing this, I might expect wedge and his ship to get a touch up for more synergy with the rest of the pilots. Also for a conquest ship Luke’s x-wing would work since he was part of rogue squadron in Episode 4, at that point known as red squadron

They honestly should have added Tie Defender by now but, but I guess the Outrider is okay for now. I really hope the Fifth Brother kit reveal gets revealed later today! 🤞
Rather than adding a new ship for an incomplete faction... they added it to the only faction that has a full fleet for each capital ship. GR essentially has a full fleet for each capital ship, too, considering how bad Mace's ship is. And it isn't even Luke's ship they've added, something I wouldn't complain about (as long as it's a top ship).
All I need is to have a fleet (Ravager! Leviathan!) that counters Executor with each other like Negotiator and Malevolence in the old days. I'm tired of the executor mirror combat and I don't want to r9 Piett.

The only way this ship makes sense is if they have another capital ship that utilizes this ships tags on the way, rebels almost have enough ships to make two fleets of five You don't even need the full four reinforcements for a rebel fleet so you'd definitely be able to make a second fleet out of the remainders

Yeah echoing what Archangel said, Outrider is still some months out to be 7 starred for most people. You’ll get use out of Scarif and Bistan for now. I see it being phased out slowly in the future

So I'm one of the ones with a competitive rebel fleet, but with the inclusion of a 5* Outrider with Dash at r5, how would you set up your lineup? And at 7* would that change?
I think the rebels will get another capital ship with Profundity and Admiral Raddus. Then the 2 u-wings will go to that capital ship to form a rogue one fleet.
They added a ship to help against negotiator, but negotiator is kind of easier now because most don’t use tie bomber with it anymore as it is pulled by Thrawn. So it really isn’t very necessary.
I just got back into the game. I think it’s an ok ship. I’m having trouble farming everything to stay meta in the game especially in ships. I have a decent renal fleet but I’m more pwerful towards the empire should I farm more rebels
I snuck in the 4 star unlock, but I have to say it’s super low on my priority list. Right now the push is to get 6 star executor in a couple of days, and that’s a wave bye bye to 7,000 crystals. Between the jmls farm and that, I have no spare gear for cash spendar or his ship any time soon.
What would you guys think about how he would work with the high level players with scariff rebel pathfinder and bistan already at a good point, is it worth keeping them in the starting lineup so you can make use of the outrider’s reinforcement ability? Or is outrider in the starting lineup the best way to go all around?
I have another theory , what if we are getting another Rebel capital ship? We know there _MIGHT_ be an A-Wing down the line and we are missing the B-Wing Bomber these and the Outrider might be the core for the new fleet , not sure what else they could use ,as the likes of the E-Wing, K-Wing and H-Wing were not added until after the Battle of Endor, plus they are not Cannon as far as I know and I doubt Disney wants too many Legends stuff used. I have 2 ideas on a second capital ship. 1st we could have Phoenix Home or the Liberator with the commander being Sato. My second choice is out of left field and has NO chance ,the Tantive IV with Princess Leia in command. And too the people that say "we don't need another Rebel fleet" I say you are right, we need other fleets fleshed out first. However The Empire does have 3 capital ships, and Republic has 2, so it could happen, although I think we will see the Sith Fleet first.

Here's my prediction for what this new rebel fleet will be: the outrider, Antoc Merrick's X-wing, Barion Raner's X-wing, Arvel Crynyd's A-wing, Adon Fox's B-wing, Wedge Antilles' X-wing, and a legendary 7 star unlock Luke skywalker's red five X-wing, all working with the profundity as the next capital ship

It's not even high geared single ship requirement, it's all high level requirement, a low relic biggs gets destroyed in an instant, therefore a relic 5 biggs I consider being a non effective rebel fleet. the vast majority of FTP players... the vast majority, aren't going to be putting relics of random crap toons simply for fleets when those relics are needed to get more important things. my non effective rebel fleet at 7.5mil gp... is going to remain a non effective rebel fleet no matter what they do.
