      It’s rather large and it works, it works extremely well :) especially on SSB. Just have to tickle it and it trips Leila lol

    A really professional finish, I'm impressed with you node red dashboard, I use node red for a project and made a dashboard but nothing as professional as yours. Great video series.

    Brilliant! Really nice build. Love the node red interface. I really do fancy having a go at SSB on QO100, but it's a lot of dosh to spend on an experiment. Great to see the fruits of somebody else's investment though :D Top job!

      If you go “upconverter” route then it’s not too pricey for SSB.

    Hi Matt - please could you advise where you obtained the 28v psu and the pre-amp that connects the Pluto to the PA. Cheers, Malc, M0MBO

    Congrats on finishing the project. It's very good how you've integrated the NB and WB operation into one box and facilitated an easy change over between the two modes. What MER do you receive the beacon at?

    • @TechMindsOfficial
      @TechMindsOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      About 8db, but that’s because the helix shadows the LNB. With a bare LNB I get around 10dB.

    Hi Matt and thank you four your channel. Thanks to you i may be using QO-100 by christmas 😄. Only two questions. Do you know if Pluto is still in production? Out of stock in many stores, mainly the usual china suppliers. And last, did you take it out of his case? Because of heat? Congrats on your assembly, really clean service, very good. Thank you, 73's José.

    Brilliant work!! Your videos have been inspiring and got me back into the hobby making me broke. Hahah but I love it. What the cost of this kind of setup in ball park to purchase and put together? Looks like we can use a few more on the air with that quite waterfall. Maybe I should join.

    • @TechMindsOfficial
      @TechMindsOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely, come join! It’s hard to say exact figure, but around £1500 I guess and that’s excluding the PC I use to control it.

    Hi, would you be willing to share the software for the Raspberry PI and control screen? It would help those who are not so good with programming. Otherwise thank you for an excellent series.

      @@TechMindsOfficial Hi Matt, thank-you for your answer. I still don't understand how you get the screen with the buttons. Is this a screen attached to the Raspberry PI? What is the minimum PI configuration that I could use?

    Just caught up on the video series. Did you say which 2.4GHz PA you were using? ( I know you have moved on to the e-recon now)

    • @TechMindsOfficial
      @TechMindsOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you mean before using this E-Reon Powerblast 300 shown in the video? If so, my original amp, which I still have and use is I believe a modified Nokia Pallet.

    The links to the components does not work anymore. Is this now a dead project ?

    Since you obviously have drive and know how to get RF signals to places others can not, I thought I ask what you thought of a situation requiring resourcefulness and technical savvy. That being said, I suggested this one other guy who’s technical ability is right there with yours, he’s just not a radio person (I think. I want someone to test the feasibility of using a drone to carry a half pound of thin gauge copper wire to the max altitude allowed by that length of wire, to see if it would work as an emergency single wire antenna. I use to hike all the time and was always a few miles away from help but almost always isolated from cell and RF due to terrain. I’ve pondered this for a while then just this afternoon, I read a headline of how a guy rescued himself by strapping his cell phone to a drone and sending it off to somewhere it could get a signal long to send for help.
    If you’re able to do something with this would be awesome. If not, I appreciate you taking the time to endure my terrible spelling. Can’t wait to see the video of you retasking the ISS or pranking the planet during the next World Cup by shutting down everyone’s direct TV, or something else equally amazing. Keep calm and radio on!- Jason Burchell

    How much power are you using for the TV and SSB transmitions ??? Great Video BTW!

    • @TechMindsOfficial
      @TechMindsOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably 20 watts or less for SSB and 120 ish for DATV. Not 100% sure but currently building a power meter.

    Why can't an UDOO RYZEN Bolt V8 cannot be used to run everything as it would be more powerful than the Raspberry Pi
