If anyone is still having trouble, please let me tell you what helped me. Trust me ive been there, for 5 days ive been trying this and im finally able to do it. Remember a few things 1. variation bonus can be anywhere from 500 to 1000 per round, make sure to counter, do the ground pound when your combo is getting high (some ground pounds can be 1000 points each, and remember a ground pound is RT+Y when they are lying down. But you are not invincible during this, so make sure you have a few seconds where no one will punch you.) Also doing the takedown move when your combo meter turns yellow (Y+B) will help your variation bonus 2. Think of this like a quick time event instead of a fight. The moment you see the white arrows above someones head, hit that Y button. This also counts for the variation bonus. it takes awhile to train yourself to do it but it helps tremendously and can literally make or break this challenge 3. I know its tempting to make sure you dont get hit, but i got hit several times on the fourth round and broke my combo, but at that time I already had 25,000 points from the first 3 rounds so i just had to do a few good combos to get above the 30,000. 4. do this challenge, ALOT. you will see after awhile how the combos add up and the points will fly in. I jumped from around 10,000 points accumulated from the first 2 rounds, to 25,000 points at the end of the third round. Why? because USE TAKEDOWN MOVES AGAINST THE GUYS WITH KNIFES. It will help you in ways you cant comprehend. Not only are you instantly killing the most annoying guys, but your variation bonus goes up, combo keeps going, and usually you can pull a counter off right after you take the knife guy down. 5. Like I said in 2, think of this like a quick time event and just focus on stringing together a good combo with at least 1 ground pound, 1 take down, and 1 counter. Once the flow starts just keep it going 6. If you follow the above steps you should be able to take the fourth round easy. Just string together a few combos to get to 30,000 and you wont need the perfect knight bonus or the freeflow bonus for the 4th round. Seriously hope this helps.
I was only able to get this by getting a perfect knight bonus. This duo is impossible to screw up on. Perfect combo string, perfect flow, perfect health...zero mistakes.
If batman cant attack the shock dude head on then why does( while in the middle of a combo ) batman gravitate toward the shock dude when im trying to avoid him? Glitch? Or on purpose? That is just wrong and aggravating.

YESSSS! I finally got it! This video helped a ton! Doing the Batclaw and ground takedowns in the first 2 rounds I got down pretty fast, it was round 3 and 4 I had issues with, I just hate those knife guys! I didn't get hit at all in tyhe last round, just did what you do, takedowns over and over. Ended up losing my combo right as I hit 30,000 points, haha. Thanks!
Loving the batclaw, jump over and ground pound...I can taste my platinum already..Thank you!! I was actually shocked at the scores some ppl were getting when I started the challenges, but since I am no longer button mashing and tryna plan my attacks nd get all the moves in it's a LOT more manageable!! Will say haven't gotten the hang of the batarang yet..it always seems to stop my combo bcus I don't react quick enough after I thrown them dammit!!
I did this one at least 150 times... I have 29 600 points !!! I did once a 9 variations combo in the first round so I had 12 000 after the first round... but I was so excited to get the trophy I got 2 000 points in the other rounds. This one is driving my crazy.
Simply grappling them will cause them to lose their footing, tho it takes longer for them to do so, and leaping over them puts you in a perfect position for a Ground Pound. Very clever, I'll have to start using my gadgets!
the enemies are always in the same spot so just try to follow how he starts and: 1. get as much variety as possible 2. use instant takedowns on Knifers 3. Use ground takedowns as much as possible and try to never get hit and keep the combo going
it'll take me 3 or 4 tries to get like over 7000 on the first level, after which i usually end up fucking up on either the second or third. sometimes i wanna kick batmans ass myself
I also advise on round 3 and 4 when you get your yellow combo streak to use the instant takedowns and throws on the knife guys and stuns if at possible avoid them and use your cape to keep them at bay. This video helps but that doesnt mean you have to use exactly what he does.

Anton...that same thing with batman taking 2 years to fucking take someone down pissed me off to no end. I had to restart many time because some stupid enemy manages to have some auto lockon and auto teleport to batman the minute he gets up. ~_~
*READ THE EDIT* After playing all the other Arkham games, this is hard, because there are no quickfire gadgets (especially the batclaw) except for the batarang, and you can’t do a blade takedown. The guys with a knife are harder than the ninjas when in a group of other enemies, and the batclaw grab is hard to do while keeping a combo. Also, I’ve never seen a ground pound fail in the other games. I don’t mean the guy got up or you got hit, I mean two enemies were on the ground, the ground pound animation started, but I landed between the two thugs, hit no one, and lost my combo. This game also makes your combo start over quicker than any of the other Arkham games. Edit: I just realized if you double tap R2/RT you do a quickfire batclaw, if you do it facing a group, it’ll pull 3 enemies towards you and knock them down. So that helped out, as I didn’t know you could use quickfire batclaw in this game, and it’s easier to use on the final guy so you can do a ground pound without losing your combo. Learning this help me get over the 30,000 I needed!
Just keep adding variety to your combat.Use the batclaw at the start,use your batarangs when your combo is above 5 and you can knock guys down which will give you a chance for ground takedown which will add 100xcombo points so it's a lot especially when your mixing it with batarangs.Keeping doing different takedowns like X+A for throw and Y+B for quick takedowns when you have a chance because it will take care of the guys with knives and eletric batons.I did this level 30 times before passin it.
I just beat Rumble in the Jungle and now am going back to beat this before I move onto the extreme combat challenges...I have spent numerous hours (15-20) on these combat challenges alone...I still have 4 more challenges to go...
This one is killing me! I've done it 25-30 times and my best is 26335. I get hit all the time in round 4 so I can't get a good combo going. If I could just master that I could easily get 3 bats.
This one's almost harder than S&A Extreme, even with keeping an almost perfect combo during the rounds, I was 5k short... There's just not enough enemies.
Screw this game. You know eventually one will win but what makes it hard is all the cheap shots and cheat codes they put in to make it difficult that raises the level of frustration. After plenty of practice one will defeat it like second nature. Right now though I saw a cheap ass move that just should not be there but is so its just obvious that they did it on purpose. I hate that level so much that i just wanna throw my controller across the room with rage. Racing against the clock is one of the things i absolutely hate the most in video games.
Wieprzow I finally completed that stupid level. The best way i completed it is by first keeping the combo going and then use the quick Batarang to other enemies to stun them to quickly do the take down move. Also even though one of the enemies is going for the fire arm don't bother chasing him since going after the enemy that's getting the fire arm wastes time. So basically using the quick batarang while the combo is still going is the key of how i beat that stupid level.
***** i'll try that although usually when i use batarang they end up int the dead dude's ass effectively screwing my combo up. the greatest difficulty in any of this fighting challenges for me is countering various enemies since you just can't press Y/Tringle to rule them all.
How is it possiable to score less and less ? Why does batman keep stopping in the middle of combos or swing at nothing when in the middle of combos? Why do enemies fall with one punch and dont get back up ? Hell i took out THREE HENCH MEN with one stun cape AT THE SAME TIME!! I was like what the hell?!? How am i supposed to high score with shit like that???

It's pretty incredible how many people have gotten really pissed about these challenges that are required to get 100%. At first I was a bit frustrated but now I find that I have come to appreciate the fighting and timing of things much more because I actually had to work to earn it, instead of just spending a few minutes extra and being given the 100%. Back in the day games seemed to be way harder than they are now (Metal Gear NES, etc) and now we freak out when they are tough.
i've manage to get 2 stars on my first try on this one... the chalenges are more and more complicated.... you need to keep doing combos to get the special moves without forgeting to evade and stun the armed enemies..... those are good chalenges... ;D
Mission accomplished, what did it take? On the first round, try to get 5000 score 7000 including bonuses, Or close. Get as many ground pound finishers as you can, whilst keeping your combo. This is easier on the first round. Try to get a good variation bonus by, including more moves in you combo. Since this bonus can be worth up to 2000 score.
I got 3 bats on every combat except the shock and awe - these levels suck. Time limits, not fluid, the fluidity breaks, too many people in one tiny area and worst part is the floor colour matches the electric batons so can't see until the last second who has one and if you free flow into it - bye bye combo! The other combat levels are so much fun and consistent - you know how much score you will get - this is random - I hate this one!
ok iv now completed (goten 3 medals) on all challenges exept this and rumble in the jungle exreme..i allways mess up when ther are dudes with knives ther
Okay this has given me some good tips on doing this part, I’ve been trying to get this done with, as I have been doing the let’s play, and this is the most annoying one so far.
I'm stuck on the extreme version of this. There's far too much bullshit like batman punching thin air instead a prisoner which breaks the combo score and = fail or counter not working or taking too long to work causing the combo to break.
omg i dont get it :/ ive gotten predator gold (i play on steam) but i rly struggle on combat challenges (i only have bronze combat) i try to do everything like you but on the first round i only have 2000 or so points are there any extra tips you can gimme?
@EL1T3xProductions im just glad to know that someone in the world is sharing the same frustrations as me with these combat challenges. the story mode was great. but after playing the challenges i've decided to sell the game. they just should not be so heavily incorporated with the game. it should just be a practice arena of sorts like on assassins creed
@SOLDIERX360 pretty sure you might have beat it already but an easy way to win is after every hit just evade (jump over an enemy) it works and it keeps long combos

I only just managed this challenge. i got like 30,050. I was sooooo relieved. And then I find out the Extreme version is even worse. Not cos you struggle with points but because on rounds 3 and 4 i get caught out by the timer.
This is easy, but the second one is so annoying because of the time limit. I can get 14k points in the first round and add to 20-22k in the second. So I just have to beat round 3 and 4 and but the damn time limit. And when you only have one guy left, he is usally on the other plattform and has a stun gun. Aaaaah I hate both these levels. The rest was cake, but these two are just annoying.
I just love it when batman turns to swing at nothing but air in the middle of a combo when there are like ten fricking targets in the room !!!

you tap the right trigger button. if you tap the left trigger he throws the batrangs quickly as well.

He's not switching gadgets mid-combat, on Xbox 360 if you pull RT twice quickly he fires his batclaw, and if you pull LT he throws his batarang.

that goddamn batarang alway mess up my combo, sometime there are three, and most of time they knock my enemy down and thus i miss my next input combo

an instant takedown the buttons should pop up I played it on the 360 and I cant find my ps3 controller to tell which button is which.

Double tap the left trigger for batarang quick throw and double tap right trigger for the bat claw. Of course this is on the xbox 360 version.
omg i dont get it :/ ive gotten predator gold (i play on steam) but i rly struggle on combat challenges (i only have bronze combat) i try to do everything like you but on the first round i only have 2000 or so points are there any extra tips you can gimme?
oh wait i managed to get 5000 or somet on first round, i may actually stand a chance C:

@EL1T3xProductions im just glad to know that someone in the world is sharing the same frustrations as me with these combat challenges. the story mode was great. but after playing the challenges i've decided to sell the game. they just should not be so heavily incorporated with the game. it should just be a practice arena of sorts like on assassins creed
the challenges make me so mad i'll have to go to arkham myself.

if you have the mutli batarang upgrade and the batarang combo upgrade you throw more then one when you tap lt during a combo.
This is the toughest one imo. I did the extreme version quickly but I spent over 2 hours trying this and my highest was usually around 26k...
heres another tip try to take down special enemies(Taser things, and double knifes wielders) with the combo takedowns

It's an upgrade you unlock in the single player by leveling up

@SOLDIERX360 pretty sure you might have beat it already but an easy way to win is after every hit just evade (jump over an enemy) it works and it keeps long combos

I only just managed this challenge. i got like 30,050. I was sooooo relieved. And then I find out the Extreme version is even worse. Not cos you struggle with points but because on rounds 3 and 4 i get caught out by the timer.
OK I spent an hour trying to get anywhere near the required score then out of nowhere I get 51,220 ?!?!

it was the hardest but didn't have problems with it, though when i play video games my OCD kicks in and gives me that extra boost :P

This is easy, but the second one is so annoying because of the time limit. I can get 14k points in the first round and add to 20-22k in the second. So I just have to beat round 3 and 4 and but the damn time limit. And when you only have one guy left, he is usally on the other plattform and has a stun gun. Aaaaah I hate both these levels. The rest was cake, but these two are just annoying.

ive tried this heaps and i still cant get it! so frustrating
Damn it that was hard. But i was able to beat it 2 seconds before it was too late. I hate combat challenges!
