All of Team Dark are amazing in this comic, but Rouge shines so bright. Her sassy remark about 'extra homework', her passionate words defending Shadow, her breaking Shadow out of mind control and saying she lets her guard down around him? This is Rouge at her most *vulnerable* and her *best* qualities shining through. Shadow and Omega bring out the best in my girl, and I live for it.

Shadow is destined to be lonely forever. It doesn't matter what. He may have few friends, but most reject him. He is too different and his poor social skills won't help (hear how soft is his voice). In addition he is immortal and will outlive everybody. There is a lot of inner struggle in him.

Rouge is better in the post super genesis wave continuity than the pre super genesis continuity, though with sonic archie online, this is the chance to create a redemption arc for pre super genesis wave rouge
