    Nice job showing this. I’ve seen it advertised online, but you did a nice job of showing its features.

    A lot of people don't understand that you can leave that starter on while it's hooked up to your battery and it will charge off of your vehicle. It charges fast too!

    Dewalt should have made the batter used in that inverter the same 20v power tool battery

    Will the plug in the back of my Tacoma charge this while it is running?

    Usually the inverter will turn off if the power runs down to low if used to 12 volt stuff I don't know if the unit will shut itself off if it gets down to low. It is too bad it doesn't have an option for a solar panel it would have been easier to keep a charge on the battery

    • @BrandonTWills
      @BrandonTWills 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brian Coville Ones with the cigarette lighter port (12v dc) like the Die Hard 1150 usually allow charging with a panel through that.

      Hello - I have different type of power pack. Firstly it is not as powerful. It is called a Nautilus Recreational power pack. In the winter it can go down to -40f where I live. Plenty of opportunities for boosting car batteries. It is also deep cycle marine battery (starting your boat, powering your trolling motor and lights. It is an AGM fully sealed battery. It has the same options as yours. The inverter is a modified wave type so it can be touchy with some electronics. You have not mentioned what type of inverter you have?. As for solar you would have to have stand alone solar system, well designed with 400 watts of panels. I do not have such a system. But my suv has a built in 300 inverter in the back. It means I could maybe recharge as I roll. I have to check my suv manual etc first. Thanks for the video

    I own two of these and have had to exchange them many times. Baccus Global makes these under license from Dewalt, and that is why they are poorly manufactured. I am an electronics hobbyist and I’m going to tear one of my power stations down and reengineer it. I will try and draw a schematic of their circuit

    • @jafinch78
      @jafinch78 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, please do a tear down. I've been wanting to make a Dewalt DCB1800 and I'd like to see a tear down of that system ideally since I have the 18V and 20V batteries.

    I’ve had this unit now for about a year year and a half?(( at least a year now)) and I’ve used it repeatedly, I actually probably overuse it according to the original poster of this video recommends,(have NOT had any negative recourse due to it!!!
    I have ran it down to 25% two or three times now, but to Re-charge it back up takes longer to charge I’m assuming (running it below 50% as I have, It takes a good overnight charge, I read the charge levels after A good i18-22 hours of charging ? I unplugged it thought maybe it was something wrong with the unit? It read it had 3/4 bars on it (75% charged) it just seem to be staying at that level🧐 well unplugged it I had full capacity so I was very close I assume but I’ve done this a few other times without running it completely down and I mostly have used this product for jumping 🚗 vehicles & hchecking alternator conditions things like that and the air compressor don’t use it much for is the actual inverter for plugging things into it USB or other so it’s interesting to know that the things you said that you ran it through or just the few things I haven’t used it for but as far as an emergency situation jumping vehicles and stuff this thing is phenomenal I’ve had this thing hooked up to a vehicle for like an hour before they had been sitting for like two years the battery wouldn’t click it wouldn’t do anything and the guy wanted to give up and I said just wait I assure you this thing is never failed me yet because I’ve been in similar situations with the same pack and tried and true after a little while it finally started the truck started going click click he said to get in to click you here with a dead battery which I didn’t even have that originally then before you know if you get a little turnover so Quetion point this thing doesn’t accept no for an answer apparently it has come through each and every time for me so far I’m gonna go find a piece of wood to knock on now but very very pleased myself I originally looked for this video to reference what the read out should be fully charged because I don’t have the original documentation which I’m still gonna look for but it’s over 12 V to tell a 13 something right now it reads full bars as I mentioned it reads 3/4 were charging but I disconnected it to inquire why didn’t seem to climb at last Hope yet it says it’s fully charged so great video I made it further find my quest for that detail and good luck and enjoy your product

      I think the die hard is 1150 cracking amps with a 400 watt inverter. Die hard Battery probably has 18-22 amp hrs, sounded like this has around 50; so run 180 to 200 watts for an hr vs 500 watts for an hour (1000 watts for half an hr)

    Mine is junk. As I write this the screen is not working and the compressor is stuck on. Always have kept it charged and only use it to inflate tires. And the digital readout for tire pressure is off by about 5 pounds

  • @richardhanson8776

    Lead acid battery leads me to believe even with keeping up with recharging the battery will only last 3 or maybe 4 years then the unit is trash.

      I got about 12 years out of my sealed lead acid battery in my Black and Decker portable pump. Charging after EVERY use and keeping out of super cold/super hot climates will help extend the life.

    • @jettlash1000
      @jettlash1000  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's very cheap power when compared to just about anything else. Its weak point is the capacity at less than 500 watt hours.

    • @patrickdolan.
      @patrickdolan. 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Youre gonna have a tough time running a welder on 1000 watts. I run my 120v welder on 3000 watt generator minimum which i still can't weld over 1/8 inch with it

    sir how many hour can run mini fridge 4.3 cubic pls reply

    • @jettlash1000
      @jettlash1000  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You'd need to find the wattage on the fridge. If I remember correctly, this unit is rated to about 500 watt hours.

    • @diyhomeremedies4299
      @diyhomeremedies4299 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure how big 4.3 cubic feet is, or how efficient your fridge happens to be. But my regular full sized fridge uses about 130-150 watts per hour. Assuming yours is 150 watts, and you try to keep the door closed, and your fridge is at room temperature, then that means you should be good to go for about *3 hours*... assuming this power station actually gives you 500 watt-hours.
