I was there for the first one. Missed a couple, when I married and lived in Oklahoma. Then my children enjoyed it every year from 1952 till 1963, when we moved to Las Vegas. Lots of happy memories!!
Wait a minute... is the Mother Goose parade still going on?? Haven’t heard about it in years, this post reminded me of it! Also I see the Stars and Bars flag there aka CONFEDERATE flag! Too bad we are erasing history now, and pretending that history never existed, all because of some crybabies
