I actually really enjoyed it lol, I know it was very short etc but i liked how it kinda of told a short side story from the rest of the game and filled in some of the plot of the main story etc.
@elmofayer Halo ODST is set in the middle of Halo 2. When Master Chief follows the carrier, and that big explosion happens, thats where ODST Starts, as you see the big explosion from the ODST's point of view.

Keyes' ship was the only one left and retreaded by doing a slipspace jump. they were suppose to end up back at earth but cortana found out about halo and secretly set the coords for halo. He was frozen during that trip. there was a total of 76 children spartans. 117 was just a roll call number.

Reach was the spartan's secret home world. within 30ish years they produced only 37 and it costed too much money so they didnt make any more. the games wont tell you that some spartans survived and was fighting in cuba on earth when master chief was on the 2nd ring on halo 2. i think in the end of all the books u find out there was about a total of 3 more Spartan IIs and 6 new spartan IIIs.
u know what makes this game interesting and a lil bit longer? playing it on legendary for the first time :D u enjoy every move, kill and headshot u make :P
@Beinggreatfull they pretty much made it because they wanted to release a game to put the beta on. Make a Halo game = A lot of money; Make a Halo Game with a multiplayer beta of Halo Reach = a ton of money. That was the only reason why I bought crackdown and ODST.

he didn't die on the ring, he escaped on a pelican with 4 other marines. The legendary ending where it shows him on the ring as it explodes is an easter egg. In the books it says he escaped the ring and landed on an asteroid where they were then picked up by the UNSC fleet doing search and rescue for survivors
The only plothole with this is that the elites weren't kicked out of the covenant until towards the end of halo 2. ODST takes place during the first night after Regret's carrier slipped away. Since slip space travel took a week or 2, ODST ended before Delta Halo was even found. And yet at the beggining of ODST you see that all the elites were killed by brutes. It took more than just 1 night for all of the events in halo 2 to happen.
@Aidenatack bungie have now finished with the halo series so 343 Industries who are taking on the halo series have promised a sequel to halo 3 :). thats when we'll find out about what happened to master chief

Close...Spartans go through an extremely rigorous augmentation process to both mind and body...not all of which, actually survive. Even after being given his first set of MJOLNIR armor, the Master Chief actually knocks himself unconscious when saluting a senior officer because he is not used to how strong the armor and augmentations have made him. If an ODST or Marine were to be put into a suit of MJOLNIR, they would kill themselves. No question.
if johnson is back, that would mean that the elites now have broken off from the covenant as well. Strange tho, you dont fight any elites at all in the city, 1 month before.
Hey everyone listen to this, if you've finished halo reach, remember how you had to keep cortana safe? If you have seen the trailer for halo 4, cortana is with chief. How can she be at 2 places at once???
Its funny in the Reach guide it said Engineers wouldnt hurt me but i should kill them anyway. So i did and killed thousands. Then i played ODST and hated myself and i never killed another engineer again.
i was playing halo wars when i came across something it said that not all Spartans died on reach this note was dated the day that noble 6 fought the last stand does this me he could have lived

Though I have not read the books or can find them either, and wouldn't want to look for the answers from cheap websites for bigger spoilers than I want, wouldn't he be younger than that based on the fact that he was woken from deep freeze at the beginning of Halo: Combat Evolved. If he is 117 and you say they only made 37 of them, then does that mean everyone between had died before becoming Spartans or is he older from time without the freeze tube?
@kaneda4 It is unimpressive to put the games in order to me, a player who has played them all. But as a player with limited access to book stores with Halo books, it would be impressive, if you put the books and the games in order. You definitely seem smart enough to do that.
@elmofayer It's set between Halo 1 and 2 i think, your leader is a survivor of Reach, but not apart of Noble obviously, and there one of the last defenses Earth has, i think it's inbetween 1 and 2, maybe 2 and 3 i forgot.

yep, a really good game. great music, good storyline. the weapons were good enough mostly halo 3 weapons but with an amazing storyline.

I think it was a very good game. Loved it.
