We're headed out to Japan for about 8 days in April, we're doing the fun2drive thing in Hakone, seeing the garden in Kanazawa, kicking around in Tokyo for awhile, and maybe heading to Nagoya for a day trip as well. Cannot wait, thanks for all your content.

I went skiing in niseko and loved it then spent a couple days in Tokyo. I highly recommend the robot restaurant show it’s just the craziest thing ever!

Dotonbori is a MUST for fantastic food in Osaka - especially at nights as the lights by the river are just stunning! Staying at hostels is a great way to get suggestions from employees who are locals and know the best places to eat incredible Japanese food! For me a highlight was definitely exploring the incredible Kyoto and taking time to visit the older and more traditional styles of villages and houses! We also did 5 days skiing in Niseko... the snow there is magical and cannot be missed! I’ve only been home from japan for three days now and I’m already planning to go back! Such a gorgeous country!

SUMO!!!!!!!! We had gone to Japan in 2008 and ever since we wanted to go back to see the sumo tournaments. So in November we finally did it. It was such fun. We were pretty much the only caucasians there. Japan is so steeped in culture and history. It's definitely my number one favorite place to visit---and we just returned from Singapore last week (so that should really say something). We are trying to figure out if we can go back to Japan each year along with another trip somewhere because we love it so much.

Ichiran Ramen, Coco Ichibanya Curry, and Gindako Takoyaki are literally my go to places to eat every time I'm in Japan. And yes, nothing beats Tokyo DisneySea

I am really surprised and pleased that you introduce the Kanahebi-sui-Shrine in Miyagi Perf., which is my favorite shrine in my country. My wife and I visit the shrine every year from Ibaraki Pref. and I've found this video just a day before I'd visit the shrine for this year! Isn't it miracle?

I personally went to the inari taisha and night and thought it was awesome. The atmosphere was amazing, if a little creepy. Definitely recommend it at night.

Geibeki Gorge is a place a bit north of Sendai city (Tohoku region). We went two years ago and it was absolutely gorgeous. You can take a leisurely boat ride through the gorge. There are a few vlogs about it, so if you're curious just youtube Geibeki Gorge.
There is also a place called "rabbit island" (Okunoshima is its actual name). The ferry ride to the island is beautiful. We went kind of late, so the island was almost empty. And of course we got food and got covered in bunnies.

Curiously, France doesn’t have bidets everywhere. Argentina and Uruguay are the only 2 nations where 90% of households and hotels have bidets.

And I didn't get to go to either place, but Kiyomizu-Dera (I heard part of it is under construction) and Miyazaki Falls are definitely worth it. Nara appears great too. Mario Go Cart is an experience if you have an international driver's license. Next time I'm in Japan, I'd definitely want to go to the Hokkaido region.

When I'm going to Japan I'm going to Disneyland and Disney sea for one day each because they are smaller than say the one in America.

Also, you have to go eat at Inakaya West (#inakayawest) in Tokyo. This is such an incredibly fun experience. Not sure I can do it justice to tell you what it's like.
