I’m of the believe that these types of jobs should go to fighters. They’ve done it and know what they are talking about. Adam is good but Nick is the perfect example why non fighters shouldn’t have this type of job. I still can’t believe Nick tought paddy won his last fight.

Leon really has come out of his shell this week. Really cool to see him getting his self confidence up, he's obviously an anxious guy, but this week has been refreshing to watch.

Yeah same! Along as they don't throw Tom back in there with Curtis Blades again.. I think it's a bad match up for Tom and he loses that one again imo injury or not. I'd rather see Tom in there with fellow strikers like Cyril Gane, Pavlovich etc
@@bigboydownstairs9651 Pavlovich would be a good match up, but I bet a real banger of a fight would be him and Tai Tuivasa for a warm up fight. I’m pretty sure Tom has more technical abilities but Tai has has of those natural striking fight IQs and even tho Aspinall has a better chance it would still be a hell of a fight.

Tuivasa has this habit where he puts his hands up takes a step back drops his hand near his wrist and does it every 5-6 seconds its a consistent pattern
He does this weird thing with his hand like he’s grabbing his shorts but he doesn’t actually grab his shorts he puts his hand down and kinda grabs the air before pulling his hands back up lol it’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen

Exactly! Some were saying it's a shame Paddy and Molly wasn't on this card but I am so glad because then this cars can truly be about Leon and these up and coming talents. They are unskilled hype jobs who honestly make us look really bad.
Would of been good to have Tom in the card but so glad his doing media work, he could 100% do this after fighting.

Love the fact Leon became world champ on his own terms, staying true to himself and not looking for a red panty night....longevity awaits.
Longevity? I hope he gets Belal, Wonderboy, or Masvidal(lol he's rank 11) next assuming he can even pull off a win against Usman again because there's a lot of wrestlers and grapplers closing in.
In both Leon's fights against Usman, he hasn't been super successful besides a surprise takedown with which he couldn't do much with besides try submission attempts that he couldn't get in round 1 while backpacking and neither person was sweating yet.
That kick was phenomenal and we can even give it to Leon that the altitude played a huge deal with how that second fight went, but look at the first two fights together; Usman seems to be the stronger guy and his wrestling background is great. I think we're going to see Leon against the cage for 60% of the fight this time around like we saw in the last 2 fights and Usman will be cautious for head kicks. Usman's body is seemingly falling apart with hand, knee, and back issues, further given credence by the fact in the recent interviews and embeddeds he seems to be uncomfortable getting up from just sitting, but this has apparently been an issue for a while?
I don't dislike Edwards and I think maybe it's better if Leon wins because let's be honest if Usman gets his belt back how many more fights will we see from him? 2? Will he even fight soon? Usman may just go get surgeries done and then what we need to hold an interim while he's gone? They're both phenomenal athletes, but I just think Usman's ahead because of his wrestling and strength. The dude is huge for 170.
Usman loses and then what? Edwards has to fight Colby, Khamzat, or Belal. I only see him beating Belal of those 3 and if it's Colby, what happens then? We just have this weird triangle with Usman, Colby, and Edwards? What if it's Chimaev and he comes back down and just mauls Leon? I'm sorry but Chimaev is huge for 170 and nothing about Leon screams "I can stop Chimaev who was undefeated at 205 lbs in freestyle wrestling and is still young and strong from taking me down". Chimaev wins and we have to now deal with him wanting to move up and challenge for 185 title for double champ like he's been saying this whole time. If he fights as active as he used to that's not a problem, but if he takes like 6 months per fight, that just feels like a hassle for both divisions if he wins because the 2 candidates for 185 don't have solid ground games to beat Chimaev seemingly.

The UFC didn’t even want to give him a title shot at all, they gave 2 title shots to Colby Abd Masvidal before Leon got his.

Considering Leon really didn’t do much in 2nd fight he came away unscathed and with the victory, if he’s able to perform this fight it should be quite and easy win for him.
Came away unscathed but was losing the fight 4-1 before landing that kick, I’m not saying it was a fluke kick but don’t act like he walked away unscathed. He was getting his soul taken before he landed that kick, it’s going to be tough to beat him. Nothing about their first 2 fights say this will be easy for Leon.
I wouldn’t say getting his soul taken lol, usman got his soul taken literally. But Leon was just getting held against the fence, losing on the scorecards

Ask yourself this... was Leon's win against Kamaru more like Pena's win over Nunes, or was it more like Volk's first win over Max? Now ask yourself, what's more likely in this match - that Kamaru absolutely dominates Leon, or Leon does what Volk did and comes out and shows that he is now better and that now is him time? I think it's much more likely to be the latter.
Credit to Leon but I don’t see him winning against guys Usman has beat. Leon had controversial wins against Belal eg. He’s the champ I’ll give him that.
