Great review. Got my nose on mine today and Sharida did that with this! Definitely will be a staple in my collection. It is decadent and opulent and so glad I made the plunge. I never pay this much, and I agree whole heartedly about price point in general and glad I got it discounted and had to show up for her with this and not disappointed at all.
Yes, you’re so spot on, the most important thing was showing up for her. Even if this was $400, I would have still paid because it wasn’t about the price when this, it was about the support and showing brands that our black queens can sell a product. A win for her is a win for us all. But the fragrance ended up being amazing, I can’t stop spraying it.
This one is one of my favorite in the Navitus Parfums. It is algo easy to layer with citrus scents or even deep, dark fragrances. This one is everything.
I had it tucked away in a dark place for a while And it smells so much deeper now. I layered it with a fragrance I bought in Morocco And it was so good. I might make it my scent of the day today
Cassonade means brown sugar in French, so you are exactly correct. Sharida hit it right on the nose. When I first sprayed it, it reminded me of when I bake cookies, but there is a woody note underneath.
It’s the woody note underneath that got me living it, it’s not a basic gourmand, it has depth. It’s been my sotd for three days. I got it on my night stand right now

After learning Banana is note in perfumes is not for me, I wasn’t ready to jump in on another blind buy from Navitus. Will wait to sample if Toffee is for me. I get scared when I hear I don’t have anything to compare.
Banana sounds tricky, but I can assure you this is a very safe buy, it’s warm and delicious with the amberwood makes it deep. It’s always good to sample before you buy tho but this is beautiful gourmand
