The idiotic gall to claim you're an adult who knows life & marriage isn't always sunshine and rainbows, but describe your spouse who is blatantly cheating on you and spending your money to do it, walking all over you, as 'a bump to get over'... What exactly was that about you being an adult who knows things aren't always great?
