If someone is really different then they will care enough about what they've done to not only take responsibility for their actions but to be regretful and do everything in their power to not only never repeat what they've done , but to do whatever it takes to compensate for all the loss. Just because we feel like others should have our past selves blocked out doesn't mean it is realistic. People have memories and, shouldn't be persecuted for remembering. If you feel like someone is being offensive by pointing out their memory of you and not letting it go as I even have in the past you should seperate from the person altogether because you can't change peoples minds once they've made it up.
