This video helped me to realize that I may not have pdf working but I can still edit pdf files using word and I can save pdf files and send the document as pdf as the company requires. We don't actually need pdf. We need word to edit invoices. I guess I was looking for pdf red coloured file as it frustrated me that it doesn't come up as such but after watching this video I realized I don't really need it. Thanks buddy.

That's great but... What if there is no internet connection? This just opens it in a web page, much like using Word online instead of the desktop app.... Also, I need to submit mine for school... The professor is not going to mess with opening a web page, or screw around with using Edge to open it if that's not already his default method... This is more of a workaround than a fix...doesn't change that Microsoft continues to release trash products that are so ubiquitous we're stuck with them
