Looks like it was a brilliant day out! I'd love to ring in that neck of the woods one day!

    Another great video
Bow are a particular nice sounding peal, a place I have never rung and no doubt never will.
Lewisham area right old mix of bells, it always make me wonder how they procured all these bells to cobble together a peal.
I used to ring for weddings at Stepney back in the 60s.
The good old days of horse drawn carts, gas lamps and chimney sweeps.
For a wedding you got 10 bob or 50P in new money.
My old man and Brian Bladon called it beer money, you could get 4 pints in the glue pot for that.
Ah those good old days all gone LOL.
It was good when you got 3 weddings which sometimes happened.

As a new member it was my duty to wave to the camera a million bloody times 😂

You may have spotted that many of our older members took their duty to go on frequent camera waving duty seriously as well 😆

Seems also like a good day out! Perhaps I should come along to these events to see what all the talk is about!

12:15 reverse rounds are still so freaking weird and unnatural to hear for me. Having watched you for several years now

It might just be me and my musical ear being picky, but the 5th or 6th at Lewisham don't sound right. I think its the 6th although I'm not sure, but they sound like they are a few Hz to high above Ab and G. St Dunstan are very nice! Suprised that they don't have the strange muffly phenomenon that you get when the sally's of the back bells go through the boss' in the ceiling.

You're probably right - to me, 1 and 3 stick out particularly badly at Lewisham. They are not the most tuneful ring of bells, but I rather like them for what they are. I'd not rung at St Dunstan for about 15 years, so it was nice to go back there - I barely remembered them in fairness. There is some muffling as you'd expect, but it's not too pronounced surprisingly

Now that you have mentioned it, the treble and 3rd are quite bad!

Happy New Year to you too, Shane. I am glad you like the Forwards-Backwards-Queens. Reverse Queens isn't really a rung or recognised change - it could be a good one to try at some point though!
