He forced loom which equlas a vill less for yo. He also forced idle time, so they were both slowed down equally. So therefore fc works better but yea his really good micro to slow down the archers of getting in really helped as well.
@@AttiliusRex Loom = 25 sec TC time = 1 villager. Biper had Loom from start (Goths), so losing one villager vs forcing Yo to get Loom early is an equal trade. Ofc, Viper could have kept the vill at home so he would be up 1 vill when Yo gets Loom (probably just before Yo clicks up to Feudal).

I strongly believe that had Yo microed better his monks and pikes from the light cavs or optimized his comp he would have been on top and steamrolled Viper. From a resource and position perspective, I think Yo had the edge, but got Vipered. I think this gives merit to Viper's micro skills rather than his macro strat.
I completely agree. He has extremely overlooked micro but it should be obvious to everyone at this point. This guy goes random civ every ladder game and goes for the meme strategy. usually doesn't even worry about walling half the time either because he can quickwall like no other. He does have sick macro sometimes in tournaments, but these ladder games, seems like he just picks a meme strat and relies on his apm and micro.

You can put several buildings in one control group which means you don't have to cycle through each building to create units. This saves a lot of clicks. The first time you press the corresponding number for the control group it will just open the interface for that unit/building. The second time it will center the camera on one of the buildings. If you keep pressing it will cycle.
