- The much-requested beaded bow necklace is finally here! This has been posted as a HUGE thank you to all of you who have supported me on TH-cam.
This necklace uses a bead weaving technique called "Brick Stitch". It's quite simple to do and it's possible to create all sorts of different designs using this stitch. You can use either seed beads or delica beads to create this necklace, but I think delicas have a much nicer finish. This is a cute bow that looks just like the bow worn by Hello Kitty!

Where I bought my supplies: mailorder-beads... (if you buy 5 full-priced 5g tubes of Miyuki delicas, you get one of them for free!)
You will need:
2 (or more) colours of size 11 Delica beads (I used the brand Miyuki)
1m of beading thread (I used Nymo)
1 size 10 beading needle
2 x 4mm jump rings
Don't forget to post a picture of your makes on Instagram with #TheCornerofCraft so I can check them out!

Aw thanks! I'll keep doing what I'm doing and hope that more people find me! I'm still relatively new to the TH-cam world and it's difficult to get your name out there :)
Defiantly understandable, i saw your collab with Sarah and i just had to check out more of your videos.
I just stitched with seed beads for the first time, using your tutorial. Thanks so much for posting this!

I have been beading on and off since 1966 and I love love watching your videos because I am learning stuff still
and I like listing to your accent this is TMI may be!
That's amazing!! You could probably teach me a lot more than I could teach you :P It's not TMI. A lot of people love my posh English accent ;) x
+The Corner of Craft I didn't want to sound weird! I've had a English friend in the past and bonus he was so hot I'd get lost in his bleu eyes un fortunately lost contact

Thank you

Nd we hope that u make other items
it is soo cute
Gonna make this for my friends birthday gift :)
thank you so much
What are those beads called?
What size Nymo thread did you use? Ex: B or D? And what gauge jumprings did you use? If you could reply, that would be great!
I add the jump rings through the top beads on the points. I use 4mm SP jump rings. If you find your jump rings won't fit, you can always stitch them on :) x her reply to someone elce :)
I'm going to try this out
Can't wait to see the result!
Thanks
Would this work with seed beads?
What size of Nymo thread did you used? Thank you x By the way love your videos
Hello! I use Nymo thread D :) x
Could you please put more options of bow necklaces on your etsy shop?thanks
No problem. What colour combination were you looking for?
Can you use size 11 glass sead beads for this?
You can do, they just sit together differently as the edges aren't straight :) It takes a little more persistence :)
I think I'll go back to the basics video a few more times but I'll be back :)
Tracy Lustick I hope you've managed to grasp it :) x
Well so far I've managed to purchase the beads , thread and needles so wisdom will be sure to follow 😁. I'll be smoking up your videos 😊
Can I use large pony beads?
You can, it will make a much bigger piece though :)
Can I use big plastic beads?
I don't see why you can't, it'll just be bigger. The only problem I can see is that they have slightly rounded sides which may make it a little trickier to make but will still work :) x
how would I add the jump rings to make a necklace?
+Karen Rodriguez I add the jump rings through the top beads on the points. I use 4mm SP jump rings. If you find your jump rings won't fit, you can always stitch them on :) x
can i use swavorski crytals?
They're not the right shape I'm afraid, so they won't sit well together when woven in this design.
What store are these supplies from?
All that information is listed in the description of the video :)
just letting videos run while working
I want one
I sell these in my Etsy shop! Unfortunately I'm now closed for Xmas but be sure to check back in January! x
I request you to make vedios for Indian girls about the Indian jewelry with seed beads
like anklet, brecelet, earing
can i uss perler beads?
Yes! I've done it and it works really well. It just comes out quite a bit bigger. :)
I m also made one of them Nd it looks so pretty i wear and my frnds are asking about it so i tell about ur channel
Aw thank you so much :D x
So small I can't see, thanks
You're most welcome 💕
Can you make bts name? Please 😢😍
80 eme et ouais ma geule
Too hard 🙂
I hate people that say this but if I can do it, you'll be able to do it!! Just takes some patience and frustration before you crack it. Very satisfying :) x
+The Corner of Craft ok I'll try it thank u for believing in me🙃🙂
:) I suggest trying it with something like Perler beads to start out with. It's easier to see the stitches and get used to them before you try to do it with tiny beads.
can i uss perler beads?
+CaliforniaGirl XD You certainly can! They're the same shape as delica beads :) x
K, thx so much for ur vids! Very fun and helpful! :)
