you know what, as a non-native English speaker/at least not my mother tongue, this series really told the story so clearly - I used to rush the game and didnt have time to read the script, or their voice-over was covered by the gun shots, which made it difficult for me to understand what they've talking about. I was wondering if the Jimmy Gibbs zombie would be part of this, and im glad it was. The scene where Ellis is trying to psych himself up tp shoot him was really well animated, and you were able to protray a lot of emotion.
Y'know, when I started watching, I didn't think I'd like this series much. I mean, I've played every campaign, I know what happens. But your animation and attention to detail actually breathe more life into the characters. I love all the little animated nuance in their expressions, and clever use of certain unintended dialogue really flesh the scenes out into something truly cinematic.
Oh my gordita. I love these campaigns not just because of the gameplay but because of the characters and dialogue. You took everything fun and great about this game and made it into a watchable, brilliantly edited video, capturing all the humor and hilarity of the characters and their personalities. I will rewatch these over and over again. I saw that you also did the Passing but no other campaigns beyond that. I know these take a lot of time and effort, but I would so much love to see more campaigns made like this and even the L4D campaigns. I know that's asking a lot, but I'll be there watching, and looking at the viewership, there are millions who would also love to see them.
Great animation and characters have emotion that really relate to their character from Nick being an asshole to Ellis's goofy fun loving nature this SFM doesn't fail to impress.
just played left 4 dead 2 with my friends last night, reigniting my OBSESSION with the series I had growing up. And now I get to see a whole series of well animated movies ?!? THANK YOu for making these! They make the game feel so much more alive! They're so good. And I can't believe you actually animated the whole car riding out the mall scene, when you could've just copy and pasted the original cutscene. It looks so much better when you can see the 4 characters in the car, rather than the tinted windows. Much love

I really appreciate these videos. It is so hard to soak in the funny character moments and scenarios when you're so spazzed out keeping up with the gameplay. It's so nice to just sit back and watch it. I really like that you use most all of the character lines for a parts in the map, a lot of them you won't hear with multiple playthroughs. I've played L4D a while back, but just started playing it recently and I forgot how fun it is. I don't really play online atm because don't want to experience any trolls and such, but playing it solo on high difficulties is pretty difficult to manage (Expert, that is). Just found out about your series recently. Hopefully you'll do more because I love it so far. Getting to hear some dialogue I haven't expected in my gameplay and such. Keep up the good work!
I think it would've been pretty funny if Ellis (or someone took his weapon from him) shot Jimmy Gibbs Jr with the grenade launcher. Then looked at each other in shock as the smoke cleared and Gibbs was still alive. On account of Gibbs having 1000 health and the nade launcher doing 400 damage. If Gibbs was immune, he'd steamroll his way to Orleans with no problems.

I really appreciate these videos. It is so hard to soak in the funny character moments and scenarios when you're so spazzed out keeping up with the gameplay. It's so nice to just sit back and watch it.
I really like that you use most all of the character lines for a parts in the map, a lot of them you won't hear with multiple playthroughs.

I've played L4D a while back, but just started playing it recently and I forgot how fun it is. I don't really play online atm because don't want to experience any trolls and such, but playing it solo on high difficulties is pretty difficult to manage (Expert, that is).
Just found out about your series recently. Hopefully you'll do more because I love it so far. Getting to hear some dialogue I haven't expected in my gameplay and such. Keep up the good work!

I think it would've been pretty funny if Ellis (or someone took his weapon from him) shot Jimmy Gibbs Jr with the grenade launcher. Then looked at each other in shock as the smoke cleared and Gibbs was still alive. On account of Gibbs having 1000 health and the nade launcher doing 400 damage. If Gibbs was immune, he'd steamroll his way to Orleans with no problems.
