Enjoyed your video! I've been crawling around down there since the 70's. Been in almost all of these spots at one time or another. Great job!

I just rode my motorcycle down there for the first time and walked along the observation trail. Next time I'm bringing my hiking shoes and flashlight! I really like your video ! Keep it up

I’ve been there at the exact same point in the trail and never seen that part. I appreciate the video.

Same for me, up to that day. It was on a whim that I went back into the valley area, but I was amazed that I missed it. It reminds us to always be on the lookout for cool discoveries, even if we think we know the area. Thanks!

Those forest , are so wonderfull. Mainly untouched for 500 years. Spotted thru out the forest are, familys who have lived there for 200 years. And they live by there own laws. The, deer look like elephants with antlers. When I worked the railroad thru there, sadly to say, hunter would take just a trophy head and leave a 1000 pounds of meat.

Thank You! This is located at the Indian Point Trail, before you get to the observation trail. Parking is at the Backpacker's Lot. Hope this helps :)

Are these across from the backpackers parking lot or off the loop trail

Can you share the coordinates from the cave you went in at 4:02? We are heading out to explore that area in May.

Unfortunately, I didn't mark the location, but I can describe the location. Park at the Backpacker's Lot, before the Observation Trail. When you start hiking (don't hike across road) take a left onto a small side-trail that takes you below the bluffs. This is where these shelters are. The trail below the bluff is not very far in length and if you get to where the bluff curve around and bascially end before Indian Point you have went to far. This particular cave is about halfway and there is a faint trail that leads up to it. The whole area below that bluff is well worth exploring and checking all the cracks and crevices. Watch out for snakes, although I didn't see any on my hikes. Hope this helps.
