7:45 - that's not the kremlin. The kremlin is something like the american house of representatives. What you see in the video is actually the Saint Basil's Cathedral, which is also located at the Red Square in Moscow.
+Rafa1589 Yeah, that's one of the things Firaxis got wrong for some reason. They also have St. Peter's Basilica as the "Apostolic Palace" and the Dome of the Rock as the "Masjid Al Haram" (place where the Qaba is). There are several mods for Civ IV (like Realism Invictus) that correct these errors, though.
They're using popular symbolism for these wonders. The Hollywood, The Internet, Rock n Roll, and others, they're not realistic representation anyways. Civ 4 has always been a little humorous compared to other versions.
It looks as if a few Wonders movies are missing (Apostolic Palace, Temple of Artemis, Statue of Zeus, Mausoleum, Angkor Wat, The Great Wall, University of Sankore, Eiffel Tower, Cristo Redentor etc). I this video must only have the Wonders from Civ IV vanilla, since the others came with the expansions (Warlords and Beyond the Sword).
Nah, I think Civ 5 nails it more with the epicness. The high quality paintings of the wonder, the fitting music, and a excellent quote read by a Civ 5’s excellent narrator to go along with it.
@@kaijuslayer3334 I do agree the sequence on Civ V feels grander. It’s just that Civ IV has more of a “wow, it takes a lot of work to build this” look.
+antred11 Yeah the combat system made no sense sometimes. How the hell do SAM Infantry get butchered by fucking knights? In Civ 5 the one combat unit per tile didn't annoy me too much as in Civ 5 units are stronger by themselves than they are in Civ 4. In Civ 4 it's pretty much essential to group units in war but, in Civ 5 it's not too much of an important tool. In fact, in Civ 5 I always circumscribe a city with units and have backup/supporting artillery. When it comes to Civ 5 BNW vs Civ 4 BTS I can't choose. I love both equally.
Like the wonders movie in civilization 2 after each civilization power up it tell you what the advantages you gain in this one civilization 6 they do not that kinda kill it for me
They also removed Christopher Tin music :'( personally I really love the game but it could have been alot better if they had more founds in that time, 2k waw in rela money problems those days as I know so they did what they could just watch Civ 6 now, it's very "MEDIOCRE" it has almost any art in it aside from the music :/ so they somehow saved the game but in the process they almost killed it's soul :'(
In terms of gameplay, pure game mechanics, Civ 5 is definitely much better than any other civ game before it. But in terms of everything else it's just so lazy. All the small details that made civilization stand out are gone, now it's just another sterile turn-based strategy game. Definitely a huge step back, even from Civ 1.
I've never played the first or second civ but I have played civ 3 and onward. I always thought the civ 5 was the best one to me. I loved that I could see the size of the city, the diplomacy was the best, combat system significantly improved. Back in civ 4 and 3 it always irritated me when archers beat my tank. I like how you must bombard the city before you storm it much like in real life. What I do miss is the random events in civ 4 and government types, but all in all I believe civ 5 was an improvement on the series.

Wow! Is this actually the World Wonder movies for Civ 6? I couldn't finish this video. The World Wonder movie clips for Civ II are classical and beautiful. The sound tracks for Civ 6 movies pretty much sound the same...
Ahh yes , the jukebox. Alot of production , time and effort went into the greatest wonder the world has ever known.
Pro tip : you can watch movies on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching loads of movies lately.
@@emmanuelskyler7000gf? Your mother or your sister? Who is it this week?

They've sort of jokingly acknowledged that.

7:06 Press F to pay respects
I mean, it's being restored rn, so it's technically not dead, yet.
I kinda miss these in Civ 5
Yeah they should have kept these
i agree
they did the cool timelapse in civ vi

+Melnorme Chaannel and Shwedagon Paya too. I was fond of music in that video.
I think these are the original wonders, leaving out the expansion packs.
I miss the Civ IV wonder sequences. They were way, way better than the still pictures in Civ V (they are good as well, just not as impactful).

The perfected stonehenge maybe the most beautiful one. due to its possible accuracy, simplicity, and Mysteriousity at the same time
Why do they make it seem like the internet was inside of the monitor?
How else they were going to do, a black box with a red button is not aesthetic nor exiting
It's in all of our monitors
Maybe the internet is in us all.
@@Corncan2 maybe I am the internet
maybe its an iMac
It would also be cool to watch them decay from the time they were constructed until now.
Just another reason why Civ5 will never even touch Civ4. Play Civ4 BTS with the Rise of Mankind: A New Dawn mod and simply forget Civ5 ...
+antred11 Very true, mate.
but... the combat system is horrible
Rama Narendra
That's true, but one-unit-per-tile is just as bad, if not worse.
+antred11 Yeah the combat system made no sense sometimes. How the hell do SAM Infantry get butchered by fucking knights? +Zhedox Stacking 100 warriors defeated one giant death robot type of bullshit. Yeah I'm glad they got rid of unit stacking in civ 5.
Great library all the way is the best wonder in civ 4
And the worst in civ 6
you forgot the Eifel tower, the conquest victory, and the domination victory. and probably some I didn't notice
No apostolic palace as well
The statue of zeus? The temple of artemis? The eiffel tower? And all the others. Where are they?
August Kjærsgaard I believe they were added in later expansions.
The hagia Sophia didn't have minarets from the beginning. It was firstly a church, without any minarets more civilized.
Like the wonders movie in civilization 2 after each civilization power up it tell you what the advantages you gain in this one civilization 6 they do not that kinda kill it for me
I don’t know why they keep adding minarets for the ‘newly’ constructed Hagia Sophia in every Civ game
The idea that the Hagia Sofia was constructed in tandem with the tumors is a bit funny.
I´ll never understand why for civ 5 they gave us the annoying leader scenes and removed these awesome Wonder Scenes !
They also removed Christopher Tin music :'( personally I really love the game but it could have been alot better if they had more founds in that time, 2k waw in rela money problems those days as I know so they did what they could just watch Civ 6 now, it's very "MEDIOCRE" it has almost any art in it aside from the music :/ so they somehow saved the game but in the process they almost killed it's soul :'(
It's odd that there's no movie for the Apollo Project.
Wonderful! I half wish you'd left in the Wonder-specific bonuses, but admittedly that'd toss off the rhythm.
Civ 2 vids still win. just seen Civ 6 movie of the oracle
I Heard My Name?
Marvelous

I kinda like Civ 5 more than this actually lol
I hope you arrange for ages order
I love that you end it on a BANG!!! HAR HAR HAR!!!
Best civ wonder movie
where is the great wall of china??
Gandhi blows up all the wonders at the end.

Это не кремль, а Собор Василия Блаженного
Notre Dame T_T
Space elevator! (also you forgot a bunch of them)
Marquis Elmdore I believe those missing wonders were added in later expansions to the game.
whats the rock n'roll thing
Culture bonuses, more influence, gives you unique "hit singles" luxuries that boost happiness.
I think he meant the jukebox.
in 9:30 1 Gandhi liked
There is no Eiffel Tower.
+Barry Wissneffskey Nor the great wall. They're missing some.

Because in Civ4 Kremlin was like that.
do this in 2x speed
Rock n roll da best
