- There's confusion aplenty as Chris Kamara fails to spot Anthony Vanden Borre's sending off during Portsmouth's draw with Blackburn during Soccer Saturday on 3rd April 2010.

"No you're right I saw him go off but I thought they were bringing a sub on Jeff" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Oh
In Turkey, we say "His apology is worse than his fault" for these situation lol :D
Lool i remember watching this live i couldnt stop laughing.
@@ct9122 I just saw it now and I'm trying my best not to burst out laughing in public.
Dinçer BİLGENER who cares
8 years on and it's still funny everytime I see it.
When u wrote this comment it was 4 years ago
@@callumpark7514 No it happened in 2010 read the description
Too true mate
Yeah it is funny as out 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@Hauba1925 it happened in 2012
In fairness to Kamara, I would’ve been pretty bored too watching a 0-0 game between Portsmouth and Blackburn.
@@alexgandy2488 Well, Portsmouth finished bottom and Blackburn in 10th that season so perhaps not that great.
@@rbaz9454 It's called keeping track of the Premier League. At least I know how to type properly.
That game was actually end to end stuff you bell end.
@@voetbal12 And? Sounds like hoofball to me.
@@AdamPalomino Sounds that way because you don't know what end to end means. It's back and forth, attack after attack, quick concise passes.
the way he keeps turning around as though he might catch it again is brilliant, probably made his career.
I think he thought a sub was about to be brought on.
its the constant turning that makes it ten times funnier to me
It did brilliant 😂👍
He's like a kid who's been caught not paying attention by a teacher 🤣🤣🤣
Literally 🤣
A kid would be scared to death, but here he doesn’t give a fuck, neither the pundits, which makes it even more hilarious haha
rdvgrd6 “still 0-0” at the end of the day 😂
Hahaha
Chris Kamara= the greatest commentater/sky sports new reporter ever!!!
Stfu
I agree Daniel
No
amazing jim ,um,y bob y,y jeff.
the most amateurish you mean, jeez if you are happy with him then it says a lot about your standards
I don't know Jeff!

On the subtitles it said I don't know dear father 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The only guy to be bad at his job and liked by everyone because of it.
You've never been to England have u
Bro stfu he was like the best reporter of his time everyone makes mistakes
@@RichMitch never a truer word spoken mate. spot on.
He’s a good reporter don’t get that twisted
I think half the ground missed that red card tbf. It was one of those.
It’s the ‘still 0-0’ at the end that does it for me, desperately trying to claw back some dignity. Greatest TV moment.
Brilliant 😂
The funniest moment in the whole of football
James Dunlop I must miss that
I prefer the moment T-rex donated us a win
@@jtgfifastuff812 Or when you lost the title at goodison park?
The purple dildo on transfer deadline day was pretty good
Benjamin Oakden 2 ucls tho mate
Apparently he nearly got the sack for this, but I think they quickly realised how loveable and relatable Chris is when this went viral. There's no denying that he's a cult hero in the football world. He's every person that's stuffed up on the job and taken it with grace and good humour. Chris Kamara is one of us.
They’d have to be barmy to fire him for this!
The referee got totally surrounded by players & tbf nobody could see the red card.
From what I've heard, the player was already on a yellow and just walked off the field the moment he'd committed the offense, so he didn't even wait for the card to be shown.
I'd personally petition to have him reinstated if they sacked him. This is hilarious! It's not like he used any foul language or said anything controversial.
We've all been caught cold on the job before.
A good work environment laughs it off and then reminds him of it at after work beers!
That's the only reason I watched it lol
There are so many mean, cheap laughs on the Internet. This is genuine warmth & exactly why we respond to a crisis by putting the kettle on.
Great comment!
@@garysmith9389 agreed.
I like these guys. They dont take themselves too seriously
...and that's Brits for you.
How can anyone dislike this?
People who want professional reporting hahah
You have more likes on your comment then the ass holes who disliked this 👍
Because they have no sense of humour.
I don't know sitemaster. I saw them dislike it and thought they were upside down or something
I don't know Jeff!
"no you're right i saw him go off..." 🤣 Chris kamara is the God tier reporter.
I was the same I thought they were bringing a sub on because the game/atmosphere was dead.
Don't blame him at all.
Michael Brock Facts. Who is entertained by a 0-0 game between Portsmouth and Blackburn
"What has happened Chris?"
" I..I... I don't know Jeff"
Possibly the most infectious line and laugh of all time.
Happy 9th anniversary to this legendary incident
Harry Forsyth Happy 10th anniversary now
It’s been a decade
After watching some of his stuff, I still can't decide if this was a real blooper..or that's the guy's gimmick
I watch this whenever I'm feeling like crap. Never fails to make me smile.
Had to come back to this after he announced he's leaving sky sports today. One of the best moments in television history if not the best. I remember watching it live and the tears were streaming down my face and I was rolling about the couch laughing 😂😂😂. What man 👌🏻you'll be missed Kammy
That's what brought me back too. Such a great guy. 👍
I mean we all love CK but greatest moment in TV history 😂 chill bro
This never ever gets old.
Agree
It's the voice, and that angelic pleading face. Kammy is one of those guys that make you laugh before he opens his mouth AND after. Absolutely brilliant.
So sad to hear of Kammy's apraxia diagnosis. Hopefully he makes a full recovery. Couldn't love him more, watch this video weekly!
And hopefully he comes back to Sky Sports
He is a legend. Heartwarming. His honest ineptitude is brilliant. You cant but love Kamara. Unbelievable jeff!
Every couple months I remember this video, watch it on repeat like 10 times, then in a couple months time I’ll do the same 😂
Same 😂
Just realised that the atmosphere in that game, looked so dead!
It was Portsmouth vs Blackburn... What would you expect?
Well, speaking as a Blackburn supporter... 8 years ago, we were as dull as dish water!
Welcome to every home match in England... Only away fans that ever create atmosphere these days
That was until Kammy came on the scene
Exactly he's only human. Would've been half asleep and not realised for sure.
Love Kammy! Legend!
Kammy Watford v Reading and the Phantom goal was also very good
Oh kammy you are brilliant
Happy 10th Anniversary, Mr. Kamara. At this point this clip officially becomes a classic.
April 3, 2020
It's the constant looking over shoulder and bewildered look on his cheeky little face
priceless Kami you have to love him
“I don’t know Jeff has there??”
Cracks me up each time
I remember watching this as it happened and it still makes me laugh out loud on the 20th repeat. Kammy and Stelling are both absolute legends.
I couldn't tell you how many times I've watched this, but it still makes me cry laughing every time. Thanks Kammy and Jeff!
That was hilarious his reaction was epic
I've lost count of how many times I've seen this clip and I still laugh.
0:13, can''t stop replaying that
Proper TV.....this is what Saturday's used to be like.....sheer brilliance 🤣🤣
that person in the background who said “as professional as ever kammy” 😂😂😂
That was Matt Le Tissier.
Was Jeff wasn't it?
@@r4h4al: No it was Le Tissier. You can tell by his voice.
Interesting. I always thought it was Jeff but on reading these comments and listening to it again I do think now that it was Le Tiss who said that
Love this so much. It's one of those videos which you can watch over and over and still laugh. It's hilarious that Matt, Paul, Phil & Charlie can't stop laughing and then Chris laughs with them.
This is brilliant. Top bloke Chris Kamara. This is what makes it all worthwhile.
Gutting he’s been so unwell for 2 years. Happy he’s been diagnosed and receiving treatment. A true legend and top bloke.
Chris Kamara is s national treasure. What a ledge, always makes me smile 😁
Chris is a legend reminds me of me my childhood no cable no skysports just whatching skysport news if lucky enough
The tiniest “I don’t know” at 0:29 😂
It's 2023...nearly 2024 and this clip is still hilarious...love it every time I see it
Jeff and kammy brilliant 😂😂😂
2020 this is still a great clip. "I don't know Jeff" 🤣
Brilliant! I used to watch Chris Kamara when he played for `Pompey back in the 70's. Lovely guy, always up for a laugh.
This guy just makes me smile. His reaction is EVERYTHING. ONLY Chris Kamara could get away with this so smoothly 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣
coming back to this iconic clip now Kammy has left sky. A true broadcasting legend.
watched more times than i can remember but it never fails to bring a smile to the face
Underrated quality to be able to laugh at yourself. Chris Kamara brightened up all our lives on that day and that’s kind of special.
This is absolutely brilliant, never fails to make me laugh!
still the greatest ever sports commentary moment
This is why everyone loves Chris Kamara this moment will forever be remembered the day that Chris missed a red Card but besides him saying I don’t know Jeff the best line was him saying " I know your Right I saw him go off I thought they where bringing a sub on Jeff” legend
here after chris kamara announced he’s leaving soccer saturday… this is still legendary
0:04 boris when he got asked about a party last year wich he “didnt know” about
Whenever I'm feeling a bit down I come onto TH-cam and watch this video. Never fails to cheer me up.
Absolute comedy gold. Chris Kamara is a legend and always will be. Even mates of mine who don't like/know football use the ''I don't know Jeff'' slogan. Just keep doing you, Chris. Hero!
Wholesome, wish there were more people like this about.
He just sounds so innocent😂
Chris Kamara the man, the legend - British TV would not be the same without you - the nation loves you
I don't watch football but still funny as fook 😂😂😂😂
This is one of the Greatest moments in commentary history
this keeps popping up in my recommended every few months
never gets old :D
Possibly the funniest football clip ever. If it had happened to anyone other than Kammi, it wouldnt have been half as hillarious!
This is like every teleconference meeting, when the rambling, waffling conversation and you hear: “Wouldn’t you agree Chris?”. Oh crap.
It’s even funnier when the commentators in the background laugh it off with Chris. Best live football blooper ever! I love it!
I laughed my ass off hahahahahha too good “No you’re right, I saw him go off, but I thought they were bringing a sub on Jeff” 😂😂
This never gets old so glad it is always in my recommended
If i’ve had a crap day I watch this and it never fails to make me smile 😀
The most hilarious segment with Kammy reporting on a red card incident that happened even though Kammy thought Pompey brought on a substitute. Comedy gold!!!!
Jeff Stelling is a great comedic straight-man
10 years on and it still doesn't get old 🤣🤣
Love Kammy so much, who is back here from Happy Hour?
I literally return to watch this every few weeks and chuckle away! This will never not be funny or uplifting! Thanks Kammy 🤣
TV history was made at this moment
One of the best videos to pop up in my recommended 😂
This made his career. Imagine the money he's made from ads.
Nothing like watching kammy on sat . Pure entertainment and his a lovely bloke . Cant wait for the season to start for more of kammys specials.
Little did Anthony Vanden Borre know he would contribute to one of the funniest moments on Soccer Saturday
Best luck with you all your health concerns, Kammy… we’re all cheering you on.
...this cracks me up every time! xDD
"Why not subscribe to the channel by clicking here"
What? The system bar of my phone where it says the time and shows all my signal power? What will that do?
Back when Soccer Saturday was good with the best panel
remember being in the pub and the whole place was in absolute bits falling around laughing. 10 years later its still bloody hilarious...I thought they were bringing on a sub :D
He has just recreated this on the Happy Hour podcast and it's absolutely hilarious 😂
Have you a link
Nearly 10 years later, still the greatest moment on Soccer Saturday
“I don’t know Jeff, has it?”
I still roll with laughter at this even now! 😂😂
Chris Kamara should get a pay rise for being so entertaining
10 years and it's still hilarious I remember seeing this on the telly
whenever I want a guaranteed laugh, I come here. Never gets old and probably never will be.
This will never EVER get old. 😂😂😂
Every time you have a bad day at work, just watch this clip and you know it's going to be ok.
Still remember this happening like it was yesterday. Still funny to this day and will never ever stop being funny.
Wish this video included all the guys in the studio continiously ripping on poor Chris afterwards for the rest of their show
Chris Kamara has definitely been born with a funny bone ... he is such a lovely man. From Middlesborough but an adopted Yorkshireman.
