@@aciddashie3660 you also need to hold the right control stick at all times. If that doesn't help it might be because of the ground you are doing it on. If you try to dash on a downwards ledge you will just do the energy move and lose energy.
tbh I didn't really practice. I just wanted to get a run in, as I am more focused on the first Knack game. So outside of runs maybe 5h. Did a lot of passive practice when strathunting the game but I am also not good at the mechanics as there are 2 mechanics that i can think off the top of my head that I am not using at all (one being teleporting to enemies at certain spots and the other being extending your glide by dashing at the right moment).

how long did you practice? it takes me around 3 hours and 30 minutes too finish the game

How do you use the high jump plz help what are the inputs?
Get blue crystal knack and go on character select an there should be an info card for special moves
When teleporting shrink to small knack it saves time.
