I get lots of messages asking where to buy supplies so here is a list! (Affiliate links)
    Satin cord 2mm: www.amazon.com/dp/B07V8DC4PP/ref=nosim?tag=etsy0e62-20
    100% wool yarn: woolery.com/briggs-little-super-yarn.html?srsltid=AfmBOopbimP6qiRASvQ7S-4rWjz-1JPeJPkOOwL9wdLDXW5_KOFUHGyH
    Plastic beads multipack: www.amazon.com/dp/B09XMGK6C4/ref=nosim?tag=etsy0e62-20
    Wood beads multipack: www.amazon.com/dp/B0D8KMWG98/ref=nosim?tag=etsy0e62-20
    Gold color metal beads: www.amazon.com/dp/B08XVVLWHZ/ref=nosim?tag=etsy0e62-20
General rule of thumb: 2mm cord thickness, and beads with at least a 2mm hole (often called large hole beads) 8-10 mm bead diameter is ideal.

Your tutorials are amazing, they are exactly what I needed.
I have been making komboschini for a few years now, but I still hadn't figured those final steps.
Can you make a video on how you prepare a center pull ball of yarn, like the one you used on this one?
    Thank you very much!

      @@orthodoxprayerropes6134 Aw, I see.
Here in Greece, it is very different, so we have to do it ourselves.

Hello! Can you tell me exactly what the name of the wool used is called and especially what thickness in millimeters (mm) the yarn has?

What size beads do you use? I’m having trouble getting the right inner diameter beads for this yarn. Same with finding beads for 1mm and 2mm rat tail cord

Hi Thanks for your video! how much yarn do you leave after you doubled up the rope ? for begin to knot?

Do you have any tips for pulling the loops through when using yarn? I can tie knots fine with rat tail cord now, but I struggle when it comes to pulling the loops through the knots with yarn. It's like I can't even tell where the loop comes through the knot to even start picking with a thumbtack. Sometimes I can get lucky and find it and other times I just sit there and pick at it until I ruin the knot and can't even untie it anymore lol. There's also some instances where I get half of the strand of yarn and pull that through and then can't find the other strand to try and pull through. I want to start working with yarn since I prefer the feeling of yarn prayer ropes, but I just can't seem to figure it out. I greatly appreciate any help!

You might need some more practice with the rat tail cord so you really get a feel for where the loops are. Work on pulling the knots firmly but evenly and not too tight so it’s easy to follow the direction of the yarn and the loops aren’t lopsided or crooked. If you find yourself fighting the yarn it’s best to set it aside before you tear it or ruin the knot. Also, if the yarn is too fuzzy or thin you might have issues so try a yarn that is 100% wool, I always have issues with acrylic yarn so I don’t use it.

@@orthodoxprayerropes6134 Thank you! I think I might have been tying them too tight as part of it, because the knot is very smooth and hard even with good light to see the small loops. I've also been using mixed yarn so that may be part of it. I appreciate the tips!

@@anthonyantoine9232 usually I keep the knot itself loose in the beginning, keeping it tight only in the sense of pushing it towards the previous knot so there isn’t a gap between them. Then as I pull the loop through I make it firmly tight to make it neat, that way pulling the loops is easy.
