they were just in sydney australia,and they sold out in 20 minutes, set a new record,if i have to, i will see my wife and come to america to see this fantastic band.as long as we have bands like this there is still hope for every thing we want and beleive in.
I saw them June 16 in Asheville. Great show. This was the second song they played. They also played 2 new ones from their upcoming album. Hope they'll come back soon. The entire show was solid. Two albums now with so many great songs.

Beard Festival '07 has its headliners. The ability of the band to shift seamlessly between the country style songs and the rip-ass stuff is fantastic. Definitely a band I would mention in the same breath as Pavement and Built to Spill. I can't wait to see them at First Avenue in November.
Saw them in Glasgow earlier this year, amamzing. One of the best gigs i've been to for ages. I took some video, but it was to distorted. there's lots of live vids that give you a much better idea of what they're like. I don't think they're planning a trip to see you soon, but i would make an excuse to take a trip and accidently go to where they're playing, they're that good.

usually I'm very freaked by beards sometimes mustaches as well, although always beards and I much preferred his little bitty scraggly beard of a few years ago, but I love the way he sings and the way his mouth is lopsided when he sings so I have been overcome my bears trauma with him!

Wow I am noticing some of you out there really hate this song. Kind of puzzling considering the catchy beat and Voice of perfection. Maybe the lyrics could be more involved but I must say as a songwriter it is very hard to have enough confidence to record and perform lyrics like these. Ballsy to say the least. In fact everything about this band suggest that they are very confident and are not afraid to take risk. That counts for alot in my book.
@mynewjamsandwich That's totally different. Not only was their a breakdown after a guitar solo in "School," but Cobain had such a raw quality that provided emotion in that song, and they only needed 3 people in their band. I love Band of Horses, but this song is half-baked IMO.
