29:00 to 31:00 is so good. Social media really messes up the way we think about beauty and how out partner should look. when we really should be looking for someone you can be your best friend with, someone who loves serving and worshipping God and someone who chooses you for YOU and not what you look like

i love the “i’m capable of one, but i need accountability not to have one”…reality is we all fall short & cannot claim to be perfect ESPECIALLY when marriage gets tough. as a single person who has a past of unfaithfulness, i needed this encouragement!

JP. Ty for being 100%. So real to hear about the reality of affairs. Takes courage and a strong faith to be transparent about lust and the pursuit and stronghold it can have in your life. Thanks brother. Truth is a lot of men and women are fighting this battle right now.

Wow this conversation was extremely helpful!! Thank you so much 🙏 it really encouraged me and I appreciate the emphasis on holiness rather than insulating ourselves toward selfishness

But also if yall could do an episode overall on Mormonism i feel like that could be really helpful cause i know theres a lot of confusion on if they are Christian or not cause they still believe in Jesus and the Resurrection and everything but have differing views on things like the trinity and saved by grace + works and stuff like that so maybe that would be a good one?

Not only is the chance of finding the person who could make you happiest extremely low, but the chance that you’re also the person that will make them happiest is impossible.

Curious to know your thoughts on allowing Jesus to guide you & the thought of God opening/ closing doors in regards to relationships & “the one”.. do you think God would put one specific person in your life & made you for each other? Your approach sounds very practical, but almost as if the emotion is taken out of the relationship

You should have Jeff from Hello Saints, Kyle Beshears or Micah Wilder on the channel if you talk about LDS/Mormonism!

Loved the podcast guys. But I think JP may have been wrong when he said there’s no example of a relationship inbetween marriage and friendship in Scripture. 1 kings 1:1-4 kept coming to mind and I feel like that is an example given she is beautiful and lies in king David’s arms, but knew her not.
