U can see shotgun alien rank up and eventually flee on this one pretty well, also I wonder if Alex is gonna combine all of the parts into a single probably 2hour video

The aliens and the humans are both very advanced, they are above a type 2 civilisation but below a type 3, which is still very advanced. And no way would both species just colonise stars for energy, they would also have to colonise other planets so that overpopulation doesn’t occur. My theory is that the humans invaded the aliens home world where their emperor was stationed. If series 3 comes out then it will probably be a war between the aliens colony planets and human colony planets. The last 2 aliens that left the planet could potentially be going to their colony planets to alert the other aliens to mobilise their worlds and to wage total war against the humans. The humans may win this war because they took out the aliens emperor. Unless they find another alien that is next in succession, the aliens may loose the war in the long run.
The fact that there are soldiers from almost every country in the Victory Photo at the end touched my heart. Yes. It's not just America's triumph as in Hollywood This is Humanity's Victory
This was an amazing series. The end of it is properly grimm and depressing for the aliens but countless humans also died despite the war being won long before this final fortress was taken. The death of the alien leader fits the story pretty well. Insted of dieing in some heroic last stand, they died cornerd like a rat in some damp basement. It underpinned the brutality of the series as a whole.
This was great the aliens at the beginning were always ready for a fight but at the end they have barely anything they have to resort to have the critically injured fight for them and have no where else to run it gave me battle of Berlin vibes

This is like the battle of Berlin. The Xenos are low on manpower, their morale is very low, sky superiority is lost, only a few war machines left, mass amounts of Xeno soldiers are surrendering or rebelling against their superiors, resources are also very low. The Humans meanwhile are brave are high in morale, they have unlimited resources to use, The Human forces are very high in numbers, they have total sky superiority and many war machines still in the fight, not only that, even more soldiers, war machines, resources etc are arriving from Earth and colony planets through portal technology. The Xenos have absolutely no way of winning at this point, but their emperor doesn’t care, in his eyes, he always see an opportunity to win the war, a terrible dictator who doesn’t care about his people suffering. The Xenos had lost the war a long time ago, if the Xeno emperor was truly a good emperor that cared for his people, he would have surrendered a long time ago after he gets the news that he would lose the war from his commanders, to end the suffering that war brings, ofcourse he wasn’t and he continued the war. The main reason why the Xenos lost the war (I think) was because they were invaded on their home land and colony’s. The humans only had military losses while the Xenos were loosing not only their military power but the resources on their planet, industrial factories were under attack and other important factories that allowed the Xenos to keep on fighting. Such formalities are only necessary in the case of smaller wars in which both states don't want to destroy the other compleatly. This was a total war and the humans clearly intended to force the aliens to surrender unconditionally. You don't need to capture the enemy leader if you are going to destroy the state they are leading.
