It feels a bit strange to be able to say I remember Connex as I would have been only 4-6, but I do for some reason remember seeing the branding around the time. I think it's probably because it was around the time I got my interest in trains. What triggered it was heading an ABB 465 or 466. That acceleration sound just sounds amazing to me for some reason.
im surpised that connex had any training videos considering the poor service they presented during the franchise such as cancelled trains and dirty trains.
Connex....found a great notice on a barrier in Brighton ., just after Connex had taken over ., it seamed to advice once they had painted everything blue and yellow ., everything would be fine ., oddly it was not ..

I remember Connex! I went on one of their trains back in about 98/99 to Brighton from Clapham junction!
