My knitting dream would be to truly feel like a part of the knitting community - making friends both online and in person who knit, having a weekly knitting circle, etc. I imagine us growing old and still chatting and knitting together throughout the years
Hi Celine! Yes Please!!!!! Please make the video on how to customize patterns. I will be eternally grateful. I don’t have anyone I can turn to in my city and it’s been holding me back from knitting patterns I really love! Grazie!!
my goodness Celine your cashmere red cardigan is going to be so beautiful! My pattern choices are different to yours as I'm quite gamine and a little tomboy-ish, but I adore your style and your projects. You are making me think about how to incorporate the more feminine, maybe a little lace into my knitting. The project I am most proud of is the Saar Vest by Aleks Byrd - a steeked colourwork vest with Estonian braids. Such a process! My dream is to emulate the Aran sweater that Chris Evans wore in the Knives Out movie for my son. It's the most perfect Aran sweater ever and the pattern was never published!
hi celine!! your one-strand mohair comment is timely because i just finished a ranunculus in one-strand kfo soft silk mohair. it's a dream, would highly recommend. and yes to the modifying patterns video!
Yes to the modifications video! I’m an intermediate knitter and do fine with any instruction but I have a hard time with math, gauge, and feeling like I can deviate from the pattern. Also on my needles is the Ingrid Top by Gregoria Fibers and I’m working in it a little alpaca from a small yarn shop in Granby Colorado called Tina’s Fabric Nook
Hi Celine. Your Sadie top is beautiful - looking forward to seeing that pattern come out. I am knitting on the Poppy Tee in Sandnes Garn Sunday and Tynn Silk Mohair in 4008 (along with about 5 other projects including the Clover Tee, Snow Wonder, Champagne Cardigan) … and will soon be casting on Wool & Berries by Joji Locatelli in the Cardiff Cashmere which i cant wait to use. SO SOFT! I think i am already living my knitting dream. I make garments I love and wear, I teach knitting at my LYS, I started a YT channel last year and that has been a lot of fun and I am so enjoying the community aspect, I am off to a knitting retreat in August with my knitting bestie and i plan to go to many more around the world as and when i can. This craft has brought so much to me. Thanks for sharing your makes and your love of knitting. 😊
Hi lovely, so nice of you to comment. I’ve enjoyed multiple of your videos before ❤️ so many gorgeous projects on your needles! And the cashmere piece is so exciting! A knitting retreat is a dream of mine - have the BEST time! So happy that you are living your knitting dream, this craft is truly so rewarding 🥰🥰
I knit the Arctic Light Sweater by Kutovakika last year and that's the finished object I'm the most proud of. It's such an intensive knit and I can't believe I was able to create all those cables!
My knitting dream is to start my own knitting podcast!! I absolutely love your podcasts- so upbeat, funny, and you make such STUNNING pieces. I would love to someday have an audience to share my knitting journey with. The project I'm most proud of is the Petiteknit Zipper Sweater- just cast off last week and my boyfriend said it looks store-bought!!!
Just found your site. Thank you. Make a thick paste with baking soda and a bit of club soda and paint it on the stain of your top with the back of a spoon. It may not work after all the washings but worth a try. Diane from Boston USA
I'm so excited to have discovered your podcast, your style and attitude are wonderful! I've got the Meander sweater by Klara Pushin on the needles (love it!) in Rauma Garn in deep warm green. The knit I am most proud of is definitely Alice Starmore's Irish Moss sweater I made for my husband last year in my first year of sweater knitting in Virtual Yarn's 3-play Hebridean in the color Sea Ivory. It was so fun even though it was bottom up and pieced. I can't wait to knit your Sadie pattern from my embarrassingly huge stash of mohair.
Yes please re. a video on How to Modify Knitting Patterns, I would find that really helpful. I love your Sadie top and can hardly wait for the pattern to come out
Your love letter top is knitted in the perfect red, I love it! It's so beautiful that you make me want one too. I'm in North Carolina, in the Asheville area, it's pretty hot here this summer. I'm currently knitting a dish towel in linen stitch in the colors hot pink & turquoise, very beachy colors. I want to use it in my new kitchen when I get one. I love the way linen stitch looks woven rather than knitted but it's slow going. I have a lot of WIPs and an equal number of projects queued up. I've stopped buying yarn because I have so much already, it's so hard to resist a good deal on gorgeous yarns. I'm almost done with my first and possibly only Half & Half Triangle wrap in Linen Quill yarn from Purl Soho - colors Pale Oats/Rhubarb Pink. My next 2 highest priorities to finish are: #1 put the buttons on my Novice Cardigan by Petite knit it's in 100% Alpaca - Valley Yarns Peru in Starry Night (discontinued color), it's done except for the buttons and it has been done for months but it got warm and I just didn't get back to it. #2 Finish the Airton Jacket by Lisa Richardson, it's bottom up and seamed. I love the big pleat in the back of the jacket and how it swings. I'm using fingering yarn - Jilly Dream in Color in the color "A little Night Music", the back is done and one of the front side pieces is almost complete, I've had to redo pieces to make sure it's going to fit right & that has killed my motivation. I wish I had knit both front pieces at the same time. This sweater is seamed with set in sleeves which I prefer. I'm a size 2X and drop sleeves really add on the pounds! Knitting anything in fingering yarn for a size 2X is a real endeavor, but it will be gorgeous! I just finished my master's degree in Data Science & I'm looking for a job that will put those skills to use, so knitting helps with the stress of waiting for the phone to ring. I'd love to come to England and check out all the gardens, and yarn shops. I'd like to know which software you're using to record video & how you modify it, put pictures up in it & so on.
Currently have a Blouse no. 2 on the needles in red pima cotton from Rauma! Very excited for holiday next week and lots of poolside knitting (and maybe some yarn shopping in France?!)
Ngl, you and red is a match made in heaven! So beautiful, I would love to see in the future more christmasy knitting with rich reds from you. As for my knitting dream - I want to design a sweater, just for me, my little magnum opus. But I do not feel ready to even begin thinking what it would be
Aw thank youu!! I only recently discovered I love red so much 😍 would love to do a christmassy sweater! You’ll see your own design will come to you! Just keep knitting ❤️
I would be eternally grateful if you had a "how to modify" video! I'm in awe every time you mention it. Also perhaps talking through blocking in that video? Could be helpful for knowing how blocking might affect your modifications!
Would love to see a how to modify patterns video! I'm notorious for trying to modify knitting patterns or knit at a completely different gauge and adjust as I go.
The colours you choose to knit really compliment your body (shape, complexion, hair colour), it's very nice! I am currently knitting the square neck cami by Helena Beba 😊 I'd say my knitting dream is to feel confident enough to self draft my own garments one day. Have a nice day!
The red colours you chose are beautiful and suit you really well! I’m working on the Sommer Ella top by Le Knit and the famous magic toadstool socks at the moment. My knitting dream is to be good/enjoy the process of stranded colourwork and be able to make sweaters that fit well using it. I have so many ideas and patterns I love but had to put down a not so complex colourwork pattern because I just wasn’t having fun.
Thank you ❤️ perhaps it was just that one pattern that you weren’t enjoying, it could be good to try a different one and who knows, you might find the love for colourwork!
Love your videos! ❤ I’m currently working on my second Darling cardigan, a summer version in cotton and lovely candy 🍬 colours 🥰 I would really love to see a video on how to modify patterns! The love letter top is in my list and I have the yarn for it, the bubbles is the only designs on it that I’m not to fond of so seeing your version has sold me even more on the pattern!
Just finished the Pi camisole and its my proudest knit! Great pattern with a really tiny gauge that makes it look so nice and professional at the end. I just cast on the rolled edge tank by Jessie Maed and its also excellent and such a good pattern
I love your videos! They’re informative and also relaxing. When do you make the time to knit so much?! Would love a blog style vid of that! At the moment I’m knitting the Iris tank by Andrea Gaughan 😊
Hi Celine☀️ Danish young-ish knitter here🤗 Within the past few weeks I have binge watched all of your videos and I have enjoyed it SO much! You are definitely my new favorite knitting channel👏🏼 I would love to see a modifying video!🤩 I usually only have a couple of projects on my needles but at the moment I have 4🫣 Sarang Sweater by Aegyoknit, Heartcore Slipover by Clara Eggers (SUCH a fun piece!), Cardi Jumper by Inês Oliveira and Camisole no. 9 by My Favourite Things Knitwear. And congratulations on your patterns! I am definitely going to try out the Sadie Top when it releases🥰
Working on a pair of vanilla socks right now! Double folded collar, mohair in the heel and toe, it is so plush and delectable. My knitting dream is to design my own cabled sweater one day.
i'd love a video on how to modify your knits! currently working on a gosari cardigan in dark navy (almost black) silk yarn and an october sweater in yarn harvested from this huge wool cardigan i'd thrifted. my ultimate knitting dream is having the skills and patience to deal with really complex colorwork 😵💫
Wow! Inspired again by your podcast! We are expecting a baby granddaughter in September and I can’t wait to see your baby dress FO. I will copy it exactly (greatest form of complement). Thank you!
Love your happy podcasts. I’m knitting my 2nd Peggy sweater by Lene Holme Samsoe. My most proud knit is the V neck Comma by Anne Ventzel. And my dream would be to buy Artyarns Merino Cloud and to have the courage to knit and wear a statement sweater!!!
The trio 1 & 2 shrink quite a bit length wise when blocking just so you know! They "fluff" and bloom really nicely but they definitely shrink up too :)
Thank you for another video ❤ that Sadie jumper just hangs beautifully on you! Another one to add to the list. Knitting dreams to knit everything on my wish list and most proud knit has to be a Debbie Bliss moss stitch jacket in 4ply that took me years to make and I love it but have never worn it 😂😂😂
I just started the Camisole No.10 by MyFavouriteThings, but I'm attempting to modify it to fit my fiance! I've never tried modifying a woman's pattern to fit a man, but it's a gorgeous pattern with nice detailing. It turns out there are hardly ANY muscle tank-style knit patterns for men! I would love to see a "how to modify" video!
HII Céline, i actually knitting the Paul Cardigan by Morecaknit, the construction is amazing !!!! I really love this project. I really love your videos. I ´m watching your videos from france 😊😁
Right now, I am knitting a vintage lace blouse on a tiny gauge (1.75mm needles 😅). My knitting dream is to get rid of the chronic pain in my wrists. (It's not the tiny needles, all my joints have issues)
Soooo many questions :) I would definitely watch the video on how to adapt your knitting pieces, I am always too anxious to change anything in a pattern! i am knitting the Marie Purse by Petitknit while watching, knitting dream: something ultra cosy in Cashmere or a Dress! 😙😊
You suit red and lavender so much. I also love knitting in one strand of mohair! I'm currently knitting the Jules Genser which is 1 strand of mohair on 3mm needles. My knitting dream is to knit something in my own hand spun yarn once i start spinning 😂 the project im most proud of is the pohjola pullover by sari nordland as it's my 3rd colorwork project and i somehow knit a whole fingering weight colorwork sweater in 2 weeks?
Thank you ❤️ oh my goooddnesss the handspun yarn would be a dream for me too (I don’t spin - yet) 😂 that is crazyyy you sid that fingering colorwork so fast!
Hello Céline! I'm knitting an Audrey Top in Sandnes Line "Spicy Orange" and a Honey Washbag in Filcolana Arwetta + Tilia in the colour "Flamingo" ❤ I'm most proud of my Esther Sweater, a recent FO that took me forever 😂 My dream knit would be something intricate by Anne Ventzel, maybe the Cardi Cocoon or the colourful Spot Sweater 😊
I am making the Ample Tee by Weiseknit…my most favorite is the Borg Jacket by Gudrun Thorbergsdottir (pattern no longer in print). I am going to make it for the third time this fall! 😺
At the moment, I'm swatching with Lindy Chain (in black!) for a summer-weight Rannunculus (inspired by yours!) My crazy knitting dream is to own a yarn shop. My more realistic ones are to go to Rhinebeck and to knit myself a 100% cashmere seater.
Hi Celine! My knitting dream is having the patience to make a cable-knit cardigan. I really don't like using a cable needle, but I love the look of cables. Right now I am making a shawl, 2 sweaters, a blanket, a baby sweater, and a pair of socks for my husband :)
Thank you so much 🥹❤️ I’d say I wear Sadie until it’s around 15-18 degrees celcius outside, it would be too warm for hot days, but great for a summer evenings. The fabric isn’t tight up against the skin and the open gauge makes it nice and airy! Also, the mohair can be easily substituted with any lace weight yarn 🤗
I am having the exact problem with my armholes gaping right now and have tried a few fixes that I'm still not happy with. I can't visualize how you did decreases on your icord and where. Would you mind explaining that a bit more, please and thank you!
Sure! So for the icord you’re instructed to do *K3 and k2tog through the back loop, slip the 4sts from the right to the left needle*. I spread some decreases, by doing *K3 and k3tog through the back loop, slip the 4sts from the right to the left needle*. I did this quite randomly, maybe like every 4/5 repeats? Mainly around the lower half of the armhole. On the top of the strap, I worked the icord following the instructions, without any decreases. Hope this is a bit more clear?
I have some vintage mohair and am afraid to use it - how do you wash it ??? Do you not find it incredibly itchy to the skin? Especially with just a cami underneath? Looks amazing ! Thank you, Georgia
I just hand wash it in cold water, squeeze the water by wrapping it in a towl, and then lay it flat to dry. I don’t have sensitive skin so I can wear mohair directly on my skin. The silkiest, least scratchy mohair I know of is the Urthyarns Bonmoher ❤️
How do you move the mohair across the needle I am currently knitting on only mohair and I have inc a hard time moving the mohair across my big needle and having laddering on my sleeves
It is tricky for sure! Perhaps you knit really tightly? In that case, try to knit more loosely (just keep in mind this will affect your gauge). Also, I recommend metal needles for one strand of mohair. The laddering on your sleeves might be due to the cable being too short for the circumference. I recomment magic loop or sock needles.
lol ok Knitting dream- unilimited daily time, unlimited yar, and unlimited storage What am I currently Knitting?- Geiger Cardigan and a second Boxy V-Neck
Hey Céline, the Sadie Top is truly beautiful 🥰 do you have a vegan yarn recommendation as an alternative to Mohair for this top? Or at least a less scratchy one? Unfortunately my skin can’t tolerate Mohair…
Thank you lovely!! Any lace weight linen or cotton would work well. Even the Isager trio 1 that I mentioned would be good, or that vegaknits cotton, as long as it’s lace weight ❤️
To anyone wanting the Lina 100% in Colour 38 - I found this yarn on Retrosario Rosa Pomar. They are based in Portugal but ship Internationally :)
😍😍😍
YES! YES! YES! I’d love to see a “how to modify video!! Thank you!!
On my to do list! 😍
My knitting dream would be to truly feel like a part of the knitting community - making friends both online and in person who knit, having a weekly knitting circle, etc. I imagine us growing old and still chatting and knitting together throughout the years
That’s so cute! There are people out there who want the same, you’ll see you will find them! ❤️
Awww mee too!! @bel.bel.z Where are you located?
Hi Celine! Yes Please!!!!! Please make the video on how to customize patterns. I will be eternally grateful. I don’t have anyone I can turn to in my city and it’s been holding me back from knitting patterns I really love! Grazie!!
I’m really looking forward to making this video ❤️
A very enthusiastic YES to a 'how to modify' video! I too love neutral undertones.

Love the ophiela blouse it’s on my to knit list too 🥰 and knitting the blouse no 1 but as a midi dress x
Blouse no 1 as a dress is my dream 😍
hi celine!! your one-strand mohair comment is timely because i just finished a ranunculus in one-strand kfo soft silk mohair. it's a dream, would highly recommend. and yes to the modifying patterns video!
I’ve always loved the look of a mohair Ranunculus 🥰 modifying video is on my to do!
Love the second pattern! So pretty!
I knit the Arctic Light Sweater by Kutovakika last year and that's the finished object I'm the most proud of. It's such an intensive knit and I can't believe I was able to create all those cables!
That is SO beautiful, I want to knit it as well 😍😍😍
My knitting dream is to start my own knitting podcast!!
Starting a podcast is super doable and easier than you think! I really recommend it ❤️❤️
Just found your site. Thank you. Make a thick paste with baking soda and a bit of club soda and paint it on the stain of your top with the back of a spoon.
It may not work after all the washings but worth a try.
Diane from Boston USA
Thanks so much for the tip!!
Aw thanks so much for watching ❤️ your husband is so luckyyy! Making that in your first sweater knitting year is super impressive 😍
Yes please re. a video on How to Modify Knitting Patterns, I would find that really helpful. I love your Sadie top and can hardly wait for the pattern to come out
Will make that video for sure! Thank you ❤️
Your love letter top is knitted in the perfect red, I love it!
So so fun to read all about your knitting! 🤗 thanks for sharing this! I use my phone to film and Final Cut Pro to edit ✨
Currently have a Blouse no. 2 on the needles in red pima cotton from Rauma! Very excited for holiday next week and lots of poolside knitting (and maybe some yarn shopping in France?!)
Beautiful! Ohh have the bessst time poolside knitting and yarn shopping, what a dream 😍

Would love to see a how to modify patterns video! I'm notorious for trying to modify knitting patterns or knit at a completely different gauge and adjust as I go.
Congratulations on your new pattern!! I am currently knitting the Artus shawl and the Home Camisole❤
Thank you ❤️
The colours you choose to knit really compliment your body (shape, complexion, hair colour), it's very nice! I am currently knitting the square neck cami by Helena Beba 😊 I'd say my knitting dream is to feel confident enough to self draft my own garments one day. Have a nice day!
Thanks so much! Honestly, if you keep knitting, the confidence to self draft will come before you know it 🤗🥰
Yes, modify sweaters is so important to a beginner. Hope you do the modifications.
The red colours you chose are beautiful and suit you really well! I’m working on the Sommer Ella top by Le Knit and the famous magic toadstool socks at the moment. A small gauge is tedious, but so worth it!
Great second design. Currently trying to get some stash used so using three strands for a Casco Bay Cardi in reds. Also a chunky blanket using scraps
I love a good red obviously!! 😍

You go for such good colours! Ohh yess I’d love to knit Anne Ventzel as well 😍
❤ talking about good colours, I found the Katia Lino yarn in the colour 38 in a local online store, ordered it 🎉 such a beautiful red

I am making the Ample Tee by Weiseknit…my most favorite is the Borg Jacket by Gudrun Thorbergsdottir (pattern no longer in print). I am going to make it for the third time this fall! 😺
I just looked that jacket up and it looks INCREDIBLE 😍
Busy knitting the Sophie scarf from petite knit 😊

Yes please to a modify video!
Many of you would like this video, so I will for sure make it! Thanks for your comment :)
Black summer ranunculus sounds so good 😍
Hi Celine! My knitting dream is having the patience to make a cable-knit cardigan. I really don't like using a cable needle, but I love the look of cables. Right now I am making a shawl, 2 sweaters, a blanket, a baby sweater, and a pair of socks for my husband :)
So many things on your needles! I’m the same, never knit a cable jumper, but I will challenge myself at some point!
Is it hot to wear? Lover it. Can't wait for the pattern. I already have your first in my Ravelry to do list. I'm a new knitter. 😊
💚
❤️
How do you move the mohair across the needle I am currently knitting on only mohair and I have inc a hard time moving the mohair across my big needle and having laddering on my sleeves
It is tricky for sure! Perhaps you knit really tightly? In that case, try to knit more loosely (just keep in mind this will affect your gauge). Also, I recommend metal needles for one strand of mohair. The laddering on your sleeves might be due to the cable being too short for the circumference. I recomment magic loop or sock needles.
Yes please about out to modify a pattern
Will definitely be filming this at some point!
lol ok
Knitting dream- unilimited daily time, unlimited yar, and unlimited storage

I definitely share your knitting dream!
YES PLEASE to modification how to video 👏🏽😍🫶🏼
Cargigan 8 is on my needles. About dreamproject? hm? I'd love to knit coat with belt: cosy and kind of bathrobe type.
Omg a bathrobe type coat sounds INCREDIBLE!
