Thanks a lot for sharing these experiences. Going to Bora Bora next year and booked Conrad for 2 nights. Hope it will be enough to enjoy the hotel;)

Going here in the first week of August, booked on points/FNC's of course!

🚲 Looks very nice, an yes, provided I had the points. Though I might want a place more suited for less strong swimmers.

There are some calmer areas, but yeah, definitely don't want to see people getting hurt (or worse).

Bora bora looks hella cool! Definitely would like to go there at least once. Being in the southern hemisphere, do you think Dec/Jan/Feb is a good time to visit?

Summer (Jun/Jul/Aug) tend to be high season. Shoulder season is Apr/May/Sep/Oct. Main reason is it's dry season (less rain, more sun) and calmer water (better for snorkeling, scuba diving, etc.)
Temp wise it's the same, but wet season is more humid, so feels more gross.
(YMMV of course, especially if you're in NYC/Boston and trying to escape the winter!)

Is this a new trip?? Or is this part of the years old videos yall finally uploading

Part of the years old videos; basically had a ton of good points trips we took that we didn't have the chance to edit until now. I do try to mention the differences though (i.e., upgrade odds, etc.) for right now though :)

I see a current offer for 175,000 points for 6K spend in 6 months. Is this a good deal? Thanks.

I think the offers with the "points + free night reward" are the best bet right now, but 175k is solid.

I have two aspire cards. Can I split the room bill at checkout to use the 200 resort credit on both aspire cards?

Yep! You can do multiple forms of payments. Some (YMMV on front desk person) will also let you pre-pay your balance. We did that at the WA Park City to make checkout less annoying.

I have 480,000 Hilton points. Can I book 4 nights here with points, get a 5th night free and also use a free night certificate (which I get for spending 15k)? Seems like breakfast was included due to gold status- what about lunch and dinner?

    • @SebbyFung
      @SebbyFung  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      1) Lunch and dinner would have to be paid. Only breakfast would be included (consistent with other Hilton hotels).
      2) Yes, 480k for 5 nights. FNR would be 6th night which is separate.

Did you get a free upgrade to OWV? Or was this a paid upgrade?

    • @SebbyFung

Free upgrade. I think they have a certain number (or even specific rooms) allocated for upgrades for elite members? IIRC, this was discussed in the video with screenshots with data points: www.flyertalk.com/forum/36329158-post1767.html
