The problem with bokeh is the fact that the subject might be in focus everything around it is too out of focus, and also the hair and so forth is also soft around the edges. I like shooting usually F7.1 to F9, if there is sufficient light. I find that in this range you get the most sharpest photo and not soo much soft images. I think this whole bokeh is too overlooked.
