It's funny how it's not till Joel answers the scarecrow joke that people seem to remember that he was a dad - OF COURSE he knows dad jokes :) And honestly, noises in the forest (or the bush, for me down here in the antipodes) are only unsettling if you haven't had exposure to them...

Im so happy they gave Joel a little lighter moment will Ellie. I dont want to spoil it for anyone but it took a WHILE for Joel to get closer to ellie in the game so i feel like this was a good change.
Thank you. You are the only reactors who did not view Ellie as a "child" not to touch weapons as if it were parents today but understood the world they were living in.
*I know that it was deeply sobering to hear that man cry out for his mom, but that de facto raider doesn't deserve your pity. Imagine how many of his victims were children -- children who likely cried out in a similar manner before they were killed.*
So sorry you 2 at the Uploaded good thing your reaction has returned And I really love your reaction to this episode even When Ellie tell the jokes to Joel laughed together ❤
Since this episode I'm starting to have more and more questions. How on earth was the fuel still usable after so long? Even fuel for summer and winter is different. Since civilization has collapsed, as well as economies, where did they get the items to replenish their supplies? True, in the first episode the soldier said that in one city they produce bullets and tablets, but that doesn't explain anything. And where's the rest? Like food, etc. Especially since the best-paid job in Boston was cleaning sewage? Why not working in the production of bullets or food? That doesn't make a damn bit of sense. Where does Joel, who's constantly shooting, replenish his supplies of bullets? How many bullets does he have in his pocket? 1000? How many bullets for the pistol on Ellie? After all, she only pulled the pistol out of the drawer? Unless the supplies were in Bill's bunker, which we didn't see. By the way, I forgot to tell you earlier, although someone else probably already did. Perry is the actor who played Tommy in the game, and Marlene was the same actress who played Marlene in the game. :) (motion capture and voice acting). Despite some shortcomings, I like the scene where Joel is woken up by Elllli. You can see that Joel is lying on his side, the side he hears better. It may not seem like much, but in this matter the creators showed true professionalism.
While not the best episode, it certainly continued the relationship between Joel and Ellie (which is good). I liked seeing the original voice of Tommy in this. Also, seeing Melanie Lynskey from Yellowjackets as the leader of the Hunters is good casting. Also... Henry and Sam have entered the chat, y'all!!!
Joel is so weak in the show lol till now there have been 2 major action scenes and he had to be rescued by other characters, it's fine if that was his background but he's pretty much an execution machine in the game and indeed the show too hints at his capability at the beginning but what a let down. Thanks for the re-upload. Love you guys.
Of course he's more op in the game... because it's a game lol this adaptation is trying to be more grounded like how he gets tired going up the stairs cuz he's almost 60 or how they strayed from using spores cuz realistically that'll kill everyone.
You don't seem to understand that tv and video games are different mediums that require different handling with characterizations because you spend a different amount of time with the characters and your interaction with the characters is different. Also, some toxic masculinity there with people being "weak" if they need any assistance at all.

Def watching again! Its not cool to have to re-upload.

It's not uncommon. She's 14. Not 9. I would have gave her one.
False. Nearly every reactor wanted her given a gun.
Sorry you had to reupload. It was a very nice reaction.
